Apple has officially refreshed its wireless audio lineup with the introduction of AirPods 5. Available in both standard and Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) configurations, the new generation focuses on improved sound processing and intelligent software features.

At the center of AirPods 5 is Apple's new H3 chip. The processor powers enhanced Active Noise Cancellation capabilities, Adaptive Audio, and Personalized Spatial Audio. A key highlight enabled by the H3 chip is on-device Live Translation, allowing users to receive real-time spoken translation directly through their earbuds during conversations.

The earbuds feature an updated acoustic architecture for clearer voice calls and deeper bass response. Both models ship with a USB-C charging case, delivering up to 30 hours of total listening time.
