Building on the strong reception of its initial rollout, the extended program allows VinFast electric vehicle owners to enjoy free charging for up to three years through the V-Green charging network. This applies to both current and future customers, whether they use their vehicles for personal use or as part of transport services like the Green SM ride-hailing platform.
For everyday drivers, this means significantly lower operating costs and a smoother transition into electric mobility, something that’s becoming increasingly relevant as fuel prices fluctuate and sustainability becomes a growing priority.
“VinFast’s initial free charging policy received strong support from consumers,” shared Ms. Duong Thi Thu Trang, Deputy CEO of Global Sales at VinFast. “By extending this program, we’re making it even easier for more people to experience the benefits of electric vehicles while contributing to greener transportation systems.”
Beyond free charging, VinFast continues to expand its EV ecosystem in the Philippines and across Asia. The V-Green charging network is steadily growing, helping ease concerns about accessibility and range. two of the biggest barriers to EV adoption.
To further support consumers, VinFast is also offering flexible ownership programs, including battery subscriptions that lower upfront costs, resale value guarantees, and competitive warranty coverage. These initiatives are designed to make EV ownership more practical and appealing for everyday Filipinos.
