More of us now juggle class, work and content creation all in one day, and switching between devices can get messy. OPPO's pitch for the OPPO Reno16 Series 5G and the OPPO Pad SE is simple: use them together, and let the phone handle the capturing while the tablet handles the bigger-screen work.
The phone: a Pocket Studio
The OPPO Reno16 5G is built around four 50MP cameras:
- 50MP Ultra-Clear Main Camera
- 50MP Ultra Wide Camera
- 50MP Telephoto Portrait Camera with 3.5x optical zoom
- 50MP Ultra-Wide Selfie Camera
For fun, Pop Cam adds Digicam, Instant Film and Light Leak looks right in the camera app. AI Remix Collage and Motion Photo Popout 2.0 turn regular shots into social-ready posts, and OPPO Bubble with Camera Remote View lets you preview and control the camera remotely, so nobody gets stuck behind the lens during barkada photos.
The tablet: more room to work
The OPPO Pad SE brings an 11-inch Immersive Eye-Care Display with an anti-reflective matte screen and TÜV Rheinland certification, made for long study or editing sessions.
It's light at 530g and just 7.39mm thin, and its 9,340mAh battery is rated for up to 11 hours of video playback. 33W SUPERVOOC fast charging tops it up quickly.
O+ Connect ties it together
This is the part that makes the pairing work. O+ Connect supports:
- File transfers
- Screen mirroring
- Drag-and-drop sharing
So you can shoot class materials or event photos on the phone, then pick up on the tablet to review, organize and edit. The Reno16 Series 5G also has iOS Bridge, making sharing easier with friends who use iPhones.
AI for school and work
On the phone, AI Mind Space keeps references and ideas in one place, while Study Assistant taps Gemini, Perplexity and ChatGPT so you can research and compare answers.
On the Pad SE, a long press of the power button brings up Google Gemini for brainstorming. AI Assistant for Notes and AI Intelligent Document help with report writing, note formatting and file translation.
Price and availability
The OPPO Reno16 Series 5G is now available at the OPPO Online Store and OPPO stores nationwide. The OPPO Pad SE is sold through OPPO's official Shopee store, starting at ₱13,999, in Twilight Blue and Starlight White.
If you already own a Reno16, the Pad SE is an affordable add-on. If you're shopping for both, it's a neat ecosystem for students and young creators who would rather not pay flagship-tablet prices.
