OPPO's A Series has always been about phones that just keep going, and the new OPPO A7 Pro 5G leans into that with a huge battery, tough build and some camera features borrowed from its pricier Reno siblings. Pre-orders are open in the Philippines from November 1 to 10, 2026.
Reno-level cameras, at A Series level
OPPO is bringing camera tech from its Reno Series down to the A7 Pro 5G. You get a 50MP main camera and a 50MP Ultra-Wide AI Zoom Selfie Camera with a 100° field of view, which should make it easier to fit the whole barkada into a group selfie.
Two Reno-inspired AI editing tools come along for the ride:
- AI Remix Collage, for personalizing photos with creative stickers.
- AI Popout, which makes collages where subjects seem to step out of the frame.
Built to stay smooth
Running on ColorOS, the phone uses system optimization to keep app switching and multitasking snappy. The bigger promise is 5-Year Smoothness Protection, which OPPO says keeps performance fluid even after years of use, so the phone doesn't feel sluggish by year two or three.
Other highlights include:
- A 120Hz AMOLED display for smoother scrolling and gaming.
- The NetworkBoost Chip S1, for steadier signal in weak-coverage areas.
The battery and toughness story
This is where the A7 Pro 5G stands out. It packs a massive 8,000mAh battery, rated for up to six years of battery durability, which is good news for long shifts, commutes and all-day streaming.
It also comes with IP69K water and dust resistance and military-grade shock resistance. That's a lot of protection for a midrange phone, and practical for anyone who's always on the go or a bit clumsy.
Pre-order perks
The OPPO A7 Pro 5G comes in a 6GB + 256GB variant, available for pre-order until November 10 at OPPO Brand Stores and authorized retailers nationwide.
If you pre-order and claim your unit between November 11 and 30, 2026, you get:
- ₱2,000 off.
- Free Tangojet Earbuds worth ₱1,699.
Walk-in buyers also get the ₱2,000 discount from November 11 to 30, plus the free earbuds for purchases made from November 11 to December 31, 2026.
OPPO hasn't included the SRP in the release, so check OPPO stores or the official website for final pricing.
For an upgrade that puts endurance first, a six-year battery promise and five years of smooth performance make the A7 Pro 5G one to look at. For more details, visit OPPO Philippines' official website and social media pages.
