UNIQLO and Copenhagen label Cecilie Bahnsen are teaming up again, and this time the focus is fleece. The UNIQLO and Cecilie Bahnsen 2026 Fall/Winter Collection launches in the Philippines on November 27, built around a concept called "Wandering Together," inspired by slow winter walks through the countryside.
It's the designer's second collaboration with UNIQLO. Cecilie Bahnsen is known for romantic, voluminous silhouettes and couture-level craftsmanship, while UNIQLO brings the comfort and practicality, so the result sits somewhere between dressy and everyday.
Why fleece?
Bahnsen herself picked the fabric. She describes fluffy, warm fleece as having "a certain nostalgic charm" and calls it a seasonal staple. For this collection, she wanted pieces that women and girls of all ages can layer and style freely.
The colors and the details
The palette takes its cue from Nordic winters: black, dark navy, heather gray and pale pink. Tiny floral embroidery, inspired by small flowers in open fields, is scattered across the pieces.
The details are where the designer's touch shows:
- The skirt has a ruched waist.
- Fleece jackets and vests come with adjusters, so you can change the length and silhouette.
- Knit gloves and fleece hats round out the lineup.
A mini-me line for girls
The Girls range includes peplum frilled tops, floral cut-and-sewn pieces and, for the first time, skorts with an A-line silhouette. It's a cute option for matching parent-and-kid outfits during the holidays, but it also works as active winter wear for kids traveling to colder places.
