For 20 years, the Jollibee Group Foundation (JGF) has been quietly transforming lives across the Philippines, working hand in hand with farmers, students, local governments, and partners to build stronger, more sustainable communities.
What started as a vision rooted in giving back has grown into a nationwide movement focused on food security, livelihood creation, and access to education. Through meaningful partnerships, JGF continues to create opportunities that empower Filipinos to thrive.
At the heart of its efforts is the Farmer Entrepreneurship Program (FEP), which has supported 30 farmer groups since 2008. By integrating farmers into the Jollibee Group’s supply chain, the program has enabled them to become reliable suppliers contributing 31% of the company’s vegetable requirements and 42% of its white onions as of 2025.
Meanwhile, the Busog, Lusog, Talino (BLT) program has been helping shape healthier futures for Filipino children. Since 2007, it has provided nutritious meals to over 300,000 students, with 40 BLT Kitchens now serving more than 43,000 learners nationwide.
In times of crisis, JGF’s FoodAID initiative has stood as a pillar of support, delivering over 18 million meals to disaster-affected communities since 2020 including 3.4 million meals in 2025 alone.
Education also remains a key pillar through the ACE Scholarship Program (Access, Curriculum, and Employability), which equips underprivileged youth with skills in agro-entrepreneurship, quick service restaurant operations, and mechatronics, helping them complete their education and secure meaningful employment.
Celebrating Partnerships That Matter
To mark this milestone, JGF gathered its partners and stakeholders for a special evening, themed “Seasons of Shared Joy: Dalawang Dekadang Saya.” The celebration highlighted not just achievements, but the people behind them.
Tony Tan Caktiong, Co-founder and Executive Chairman of the Jollibee Group and Chairman Emeritus of JGF, reflected on the Foundation’s journey:
“Tonight is not just about celebrating milestones. It is about celebrating people, people who have worked together, often quietly, over many years to make a real difference in the lives of others.”
He also paid tribute to Grace Tan Caktiong, whose vision and dedication helped shape the Foundation into what it is today, “an organization with a life of its own,” he shared.
JGF President Gisela Tiongson echoed this sentiment, expressing gratitude to the partners who have been part of the journey.
“You are not just our guests, you are part of the larger Jollibee Group community, bound together by shared values and generous hearts,” she said.
A New Chapter Begins
The celebration also marked the unveiling of JGF’s refreshed logo, symbolizing a renewed commitment to its mission.
According to William Tan Untiong, Chairman of JGF, the new identity reflects both continuity and growth:
“While the look may evolve, our mission remains the same: to nourish communities and help build a future where joy continues to grow.”
As it enters its next chapter, JGF aims to deepen its programs and expand its reach, continuing to uplift smallholder farmers, nourish communities, and create lasting impact.
Looking ahead, Dr. Tan Caktiong shared a hopeful vision: a future of stronger partnerships, wider opportunities, and more shared joy for Filipinos everywhere.
