Push Laundry Launch in Manila Empowers PWDs Through Inclusive Laundry Livelihood Project

A new spin on social entrepreneurship has arrived in Quezon City. Push Laundry, a commercial laundry venture with a heart, officially launched to provide sustainable livelihood opportunities for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), bringing together the expertise and support of House with No Steps Foundation (HWNSF), ELS, BigZe Corporation, and LG Electronics Philippines.

This initiative transforms the way business and social impact intersect. Beyond clean clothes, every wash contributes to employment, skills development, and programs designed for PWD beneficiaries. The Cubao-based facility, renovated from an HWNSF building, now functions as a fully operational laundry hub where PWDs actively participate in the workforce and gain meaningful employment within their community.
“LG Electronics Philippines is proud to support initiatives that create meaningful livelihood opportunities for the PWD community,” said Nakhyun Seung, managing director of LG Electronics Philippines. “Through our LG Commercial Laundry solutions, we can contribute to a business model that promotes inclusivity while ensuring reliable and efficient daily operations.”

The collaboration blends social impact with business expertise:
  • HWNSF – Advocates for and supports PWDs
  • ELS – Provides business structure and partnership guidance
  • BigZe Corporation – Manages daily shop operations
  • LG Electronics Philippines – Supplies commercial laundry solutions
Push Laundry operates on a model where earnings directly support employment, skills training, and sustainability programs for PWDs. By combining commercial service with a social mission, the project offers a blueprint for other enterprises seeking to merge profit and purpose.

The launch marks a milestone in championing inclusive livelihood initiatives in the Philippines, demonstrating that accessibility, efficiency, and social good can coexist seamlessly in the local business landscape.
