LG Transforms the Living Room into a Console-Free Arcade with Expanded Gaming Portal and Mobile Gamepad App

SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA — LG Electronics (LG) is taking the "smart" in Smart TV to a new level by rolling out a massive expansion to its LG Gaming Portal. Boasting over 4,000 cloud-based titles and 600 casual games, LG webOS-powered TVs are now a one-stop destination for gaming—no console required.

The update introduces major titles and innovative control methods that leverage LG’s unique hardware:

  • Just Dance Now: In collaboration with Ubisoft, players can now use the LG Magic Remote to mirror their dance moves on screen, eliminating the need for external cameras or controllers.

  • Voice-Controlled Hits: Partnering with Volley, LG brings voice-AI games like Jeopardy! and Song Quiz to the big screen, allowing users to play entirely through voice commands.

  • Arcade Racing for Free: Asphalt Legends Unite joins the portal via Blacknut, offering an ad-supported version with all cars and maps unlocked from the start.

  • Hackathon Winners: Grand Prize winner Quest of Sunflower (AI-driven storytelling) and Signs of Magic (where the Magic Remote acts as a "wand") are now officially available.

To ensure everyone can join the fun, the new LG Mobile Gamepad Wi-Fi app (available on Android and iOS) transforms any smartphone into a responsive game controller, making multiplayer sessions more accessible than ever.
