LG Philippines Opens 2026 Ambassador Challenge: Seeking Healthcare Heroes and Community Changemakers

MANILA, PHILIPPINES, FEBRUARY 10, 2026 — LG Electronics Philippines is officially inviting community leaders, non-profits, and grassroots organizations to turn their visions for a better Philippines into reality. The 2026 LG Ambassador Challenge is now open for entries, with this year’s search specifically prioritizing projects that provide medical aid and community healthcare solutions to underserved areas.
Launched locally in 2022 in partnership with Korea Friends of Hope International (KFHI), the Ambassador Challenge is a core pillar of LG’s "Life’s Good" philosophy. The program provides vital funding and logistical support to sustainable, community-driven projects that tackle pressing social issues.
"We want to work closely with those who know their communities best," said Nakhyun Seong, Managing Director of LG Electronics Philippines. "By empowering local leaders with resources, we can build stronger, healthier communities together."
The selection committee is looking for innovative proposals that demonstrate long-term sustainability and strong local involvement. The application window is short, running from February 10 to February 28, 2026. A Legacy of Impact: The program has a proven track record of success across the Philippines:
2025: Doubled the capacity of a maternal and child health center in Tanza, Cavite.
2024: Launched the "Library On the Go" mobile learning center in Nagcarlan, Laguna.
2023: Provided clean water access and solar streetlights in various Laguna communities.
2022: Funded a dedicated ambulance for pediatric cancer patients through Bahay Aruga.
