MANILA, Philippines – Lalamove, the leading on-demand delivery platform, is setting a new industry standard for security and reliability by automatically insuring every delivery. In partnership with Pioneer Insurance, Lalamove has officially launched “Goods Insurance,” providing built-in coverage of up to ₱20,000 against loss, accidental damage, or robbery/pilferage. This crucial new feature applies to all bookings made through the Lalamove app, effective November 7, 2025.

This initiative is particularly timely as the busy holiday shipping season requires heightened reliability for Filipinos moving gifts, and especially for small business owners who rely on seamless logistics for their livelihoods. With this automatic coverage, no extra registration or additional steps are required from the user.

The policy covers accidental damage, loss during transit, and robbery or pilferage, provided the incident is reported within 72 hours of pick-up. This creates essential safeguards, allowing entrepreneurs and online sellers to focus on growth without worrying about potential setbacks.

This protection is a key component of Lalamove’s broader commitment to safety, which includes existing efforts like facial recognition log-ins for partner drivers and the PadaLala 101 education drive, which promotes responsible booking through reminders like "Double Check the Details" and "No Match, No Give."
