PNC Archon Esports dominates the realme Regional Wars with a 3-0 sweep to break their playoffs curse. This recap highlights key plays, standout MVPs, and what’s next for the team at the PCC National League. A must-read for esports, gaming, and tech fans.
The energy was high, the crowd was loud, and the stakes couldn’t be bigger as PNC Archon Esports finally claimed their long-awaited moment, emerging as the champions of the realme Regional Wars: Campus Edition. After weeks of intense eliminations, the Luzon-based squad delivered a commanding 3-0 sweep against Mindanao’s Lite EOS, ending what they fondly called their “playoffs curse.”

The team’s win didn’t just give them bragging rights. It also earned them a spot in the Philippine Collegiate Championship (PCC) group stages, where they will fight for a slot at the PCC National League Grand Finals happening at Campus Playfest 2025 on December 7–8.

The Grand Finals began with a twist after Lite EOS was handed a Game 1 penalty for a rulebook violation, giving PNC Archon an early advantage that fueled their confidence. Game 2 showed PNC in full control, locking objectives, securing early kills, and building a Gold lead that Lite EOS couldn’t overcome. But it was Game 3 that had everyone on the edge of their seats.

Lite EOS almost pulled off a comeback after Kylezuu delivered a massive Maniac that nearly cracked open PNC’s base. But Karll, using Harith, held the line with a clutch defense that saved their final turret. This opened the door for a game-changing Lord steal, made possible by Krema’s perfectly timed Gatotkaca ultimate. With momentum swinging back, PNC marched down for a clean, decisive final push to seal the championship.

The tournament, powered by Converge’s high-speed connection, ran smoothly from beginning to end, giving fans and players nonstop, interruption-free action.

Karll was named the MVP for Match 3 with an impressive 8-2-8 KDA and 89% kill participation, but it was Krema who took home the overall Finals MVP title. As champions, PNC Archon will receive P100,000 in cash and a realme 15 Pro 5G, while Krema gets P50,000 worth of realme products. Lite EOS and Vanguard Esports T1 secured P30,000 and P20,000 respectively as top finishers.

The win was emotional for the team. “We’ve been together for a long time, but we always felt cursed in the playoffs,” Krema shared after the match. “This is our first time reaching the finals, much more winning it all. We didn’t expect this, but it’s just the beginning.”

Up next, PNC Archon enters the PCC National League Group Stages with their eyes on the Grand Finals at MOA Arena Music Hall this December. The realme 15 Pro 5G will serve as the official gaming phone throughout the competition, giving players a fast and smooth gaming experience.

Fans who want to upgrade their gear can also get a free pair of TechLife Wireless Earbuds X worth PHP 1,699 with every purchase of a realme 15 Pro 5G. Buyers will have the chance to win premium prizes including a realme GT 7T, realme Pad X Wi-Fi, and even an all-expense-paid travel-for-two getaway to either Thailand or Vietnam.
