Global apparel retailer UNIQLO is set to launch the Uniqlo U 2025 Fall/Winter collection on September 26. Designed by Co-Artistic Directors Christophe Lemaire and Sarah-Linh Tran with their Paris-based team, Uniqlo U draws inspiration from the deep blue of the North Sea. This season’s collection celebrates the majestic wilderness of the sea and its surroundings, evoking a sense of serenity, solitude, and calm.
Titled “Future Layers,” the collection invites wearers to experiment with seamless layering, combining contrasting fabrics such as merino wool, crispy nylon, and PUFFTECH. Each piece emphasizes functionality while maintaining a beautiful silhouette, with a calm, distinctive color palette featuring indigo blue, deep basil green, and rich plum purple, signature to Uniqlo U.
The collection highlights highly functional outerwear, including a lightweight, warm PUFFTECH-insulated women's parka and men's blouson, both designed with a short, rounded length for versatile styling. The BLOCKTECH Utility Parka features an adjustable hood, reinforced brim, and double placket, while the Oversized Single Breasted Coat offers an elegant A-line silhouette. Both designs include durable water repellency, ensuring comfort during sudden light rain.
Layering is enhanced through mixed materials, such as the Merino Blend High Neck Cardigan and the 3D Knit Merino Blend Dress, which follow the body line elegantly. Soft and warm options like the Lambswool Dress and Crew Neck Sweaters complement the women's Drape Shirts with side slits and Utility Oversized Shirts featuring outdoors-inspired details. These tonal fabric combinations create a sophisticated and practical style for everyday wear.
