XGIMI's new MoGo 4 and MoGo 4 Laser projectors deliver true portability, better audio, higher brightness, and built-in batteries.
XGIMI has officially launched its latest lineup of portable projectors, the MoGo 4 and MoGo 4 Laser, building on the foundation of the MoGo 3 Pro. These new models aim to offer a more practical and immersive viewing experience, especially for users who value portability without compromising on quality.

At first glance, the MoGo 4 series keeps the same compact cylindrical design that fans of the MoGo 3 Pro will recognize. However, the real improvements are found inside. One of the most notable changes is the built-in 20,000mAh battery in both models. This means users no longer need to keep the projector plugged in while watching content on the go. According to XGIMI, the battery offers up to 2.5 hours of video playback and can power the device for up to 6 hours in Bluetooth speaker mode. This is a huge step forward from the previous model, which lacked any built-in battery at all.
Another standout feature in the MoGo 4 series is the introduction of magnetic picture filters. These filters add visual effects that can change the mood of your setup, which is a fun addition for casual movie nights or creative presentations. The base model, MoGo 4, includes one filter, while the MoGo 4 Laser comes with four.

XGIMI has also responded to user feedback about the audio performance in the MoGo 3 Pro. The new projectors come with dual 6W Harman Kardon speakers, delivering clearer and louder sound. While these speakers are a noticeable improvement, depending on the environment—especially larger rooms or outdoor spaces—you might still benefit from using a Bluetooth speaker or a soundbar for even better audio output.
In terms of display performance, the MoGo 4 offers 1080p resolution and a brightness of 450 ISO lumens, which is solid for indoor and dimly lit outdoor use. The MoGo 4 Laser steps it up with 550 ISO lumens and a triple laser system, resulting in brighter images and better color accuracy. Both models come equipped with automatic keystone correction, 360° rotation, gesture control for filters, and an infrared remote, making them easy to set up and use in a variety of settings.

Connectivity remains consistent across the board with support for Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi 5, and HDMI with ARC, so you can easily pair the projector with your favorite streaming devices, consoles, or speakers. They also run on Google TV, giving you access to a wide range of apps and content without needing extra hardware.

For users who want to expand their setup, XGIMI is also offering a couple of new accessories. The PowerBase Stand is a tripod with a 20,000mAh extra battery, which magnetically connects to either projector for even longer viewing sessions. There’s also a portable 70-inch outdoor screen that’s quick to set up, making it easy to enjoy a cinema-like experience anywhere.

The MoGo 4 series is now available directly from XGIMI’s website and Amazon. Pricing starts at €599 for the MoGo 4, while the MoGo 4 Laser is priced at €799. For those looking for a complete portable setup, XGIMI offers bundles: the MoGo 4 + PowerBase for €679, and the MoGo 4 Laser + PowerBase + Outdoor Screen for €949.

Whether you're hosting a backyard movie night or traveling and need a projector that doesn’t tie you down, the MoGo 4 series looks like a strong contender in the portable projector space. With practical upgrades like built-in batteries, improved speakers, and a brighter display, XGIMI continues to evolve its product lineup to match the needs of modern users.
