Continuing the Omotesando Koffee story in the Philippines

For a brand with a following as established as Omotesando Koffee, stores can pop up like mushrooms and it would be a sure hit. But the Japanese coffee brand consciously doesn’t follow suit. “When we build stores, we’re mindful of who we’re serving,” Omotesando Koffee owner and managing director Russell Stradmoor says. “We wanted to build a cafe that the people in the neighborhood felt like it belonged to them.”

This is all the more reason why each store opened is special. With origins in the quaint backstreets of Omotesando, Tokyo over a decade ago, the discreet shop soon grew to be known as an international destination for coffee lovers with presence in London, Hong Kong and Manila.
Now, H&F Retail Concepts brings Japanese artisanship to Makati’s Central Business District as it unveils Omotesando Koffee’s newest cafe in Dowell Tower Salcedo. This is the second location of the renowned coffee brand, with the other one located in Power Plant Mall, delivering the same promise: the level of craft of traditional Japanese specialty brews.

The latest branch boasts some 103 sqm of space to enjoy with trademark furniture designed by Hong-Kong based Studio Adjective. This, of course, comes with Omotesando’s signature coffee cube for patrons to enjoy seeing the process of an espresso being made especially for them.
