Huawei Launches their newest entry level Y7p with a 48MP Tripple Camera!

Huawei has officially launched its newest of the Y Series, the HUAWEU Y7p. This entry-level phones has 48MP Triple Camera, a 6.39" Huawei Punch Display and a 4000mAh battery capacity. Now, those are a lot of flagship-level features on an entry-level phone, but is it worth it?
Right off the bat, you can see that the phone looks beautiful, it has that premium quality feel to it and feels right on the hand. Now, let's discuss the camera real quick. The Huawei Y7p sports an AI Triple Camera system. Which they say you'd rarely get in an entry-level phone. One amazing feature of the phone also is that it has a 48MP Main Camera, an 8MP 120-degree Ultra Wide-angle Camera and a 2MP Depth Camera.
The cameras supports AI Scene Recognition, which can recognize over 500 scenes across 21 categories including blue sky, food, plant, firework and sunset. Each scene is calibrated individually, enabling everyday users to shoot like pro. If you are shooting in broad daylight or night, you will never have to worry with HUAWEI Y7p’s large 1/2-inch sensor that produces clear images that are rich in details and colors.

Here are some sample photos (unedited)

The next photo I tried touch-focusing on the lighted box in the middle, if you are trying to capture similar to this situation, the surrounding part of the screen will go dimmed to get a better image of the lighted part. The bottom photo is where it touched the night-mode. You can see that it retained the clarity of the image in the middle and also adjusted the lighting in its soundings.

Here's a selfie!
Blurred because I screen grabbed this so the phone moved.

HUAWEI Y7p’s Night Mode supports stabilization for handheld shots taken with up to a six-second exposure. And if you want to record breath-taking videos, HUAWEI Y7p has Slow-Mo Mode that can shoot 480fps videos. Here are the camera settings.
The Huawei y&p has the Punch FullView display and sports and AI Assisted 8MP Front Camera. Not bad actually. It can apply custom beautification based on the subjects's face while retaining authentic details. Other than that, you can also make use of the Face Unlock for safe and speedy unlock in just 0.4 seconds. I haven't tried this Face Unlock during the launch but based on my experience with Huawei Phones, they are pretty fast!
Now, if you look at the phone, it's beautiful. The display and design are aesthetically pleasing to the eye, stunning color variants, making it the best fashionable device for the young and fun-seekers.

The HUAWEI Y7p is equipped with a trend-setting 6.39” Punch FullView Display that has thinner bezels to get an impressive screen-to-body ratio of 90 percent.
The 19.5:9 display supports a HD+ resolution of 1560x720 for displaying fine detail with vivid clarity. And with EMUI 9.1, it also features an Eye Comfort Mode that has passed the TÜV Rheinland low blue light certification. It can lower the intensity of blue light emitted from the screen and provide automatic brightness adjustment.

Now if you check out the back, you'll notice that it has that door-like light refraction in 2.5D effect. Kind of cool actually. This was inspired by the unpredictability of light combined with a nano-texture technology.
Available in two color variants - Midnight Black and Aurora Blue, the Huawei Y7p boasts 64GB ROM with 512GB extendable large storage. It also has 4GB RAM which will make it easy for you to switch and run multiple apps at the same time.

It has a 4000mAh battery. Not sure if this is something to really highlight but I think smartphones nowadays must have at least 5000mAh or at least 4,500mAh. The Kirin 710F, a high performance and low power consumption processor, ensures a fast and smooth user experience. So, whether you are a gamer, a social media enthusiast or a music aficionado, the Kirin 710F will provide a satisfying user experience for your favorite pastime activity.

Audio is also featured by Huawei saying that the Y7p produces vibrant crisp sounds for a more immersive audio experience. Well, this part surely is often neglected. Not sure if there was any hardware or software improvements in its audio but Huawei says that dialogues will be highlighted for more dramatic effects and also reduce noise in the background for music playback. I did check the specs sheet and didn't find anything on its audio. Must be a design and better hardware manufacturing.

Initial Impressions
Priced at Php 9,990, the Y7p sure does have the right features for this entry-level smartphone. But is it worth it? Maybe. Yey for me is the immersive display, the 48MP camera, expandable memory, and the 4GB RAM sure it inviting. Not to mention having the Huawei interface and its usability is always a come-on because of its ease of use. The Ney side for me would be the fact that they are still using micro-USB instead of type-C. (Nice that they still have that headphone jack though)
Oh! and the Huawei Y7p doesn't have any google apps/Play Store. There is a workaround You can still use some Google services via a browser. Don't worry also because Huawei has an AppGallery where you would be able to download some very useful files (see some apps below)
I'm not sure what to feel with its battery. I think Huawei should have 5000mAh as a standard battery capacity this 2020 onwards. So, what do you guys think of the new Huawei Y7p? I personally think that it's nice! Watch out for more promos and deals. They're giving away some speakers and other stuff!
