The Mede8er MED500X2 media player

Yes, I was lucky to be one of the few who were there during the intimate Bloggers Meet last August 27, Saturday, in Picasso Boutique, Makati City. There was this small gathering of tech / media bloggers, all who enjoy the pleasure of home viewing! and Mede8er made that pleasure happen! :)

This day and age, with the rise of technology, media players now make it easy for us and more comfortable to watch movies, play music, view photos and even surf the net in the comfort of one's own TV.

How? you ask? well, lucky for you Sanji Electronics has the MED500X2, the latest generation multimedia player, specially developed for today’s demanding media enthusiasts. The MED500X2 has some awesome and yet unique features giving the audience the best or should i say, AWESOME-ST!!! entertainment experience right in their own room.

Upon arriving at the meet, there an unusual setting and yet so homey and comfortable... We were advised to remove our shoes and settle our selves on the mattress / floor bed there and feel at home. Now that's what i like!

It started with the introduction of the product with permissions to jab in some question while Norman was telling us about what Mede8er is.
As Norman Valido from Sanji Electronics explains, Its user friendly interface is big and bright and has all the options clearly labeled and arranged for faster and easier viewing. PAL and NTSC output up to 1080p/60Hz is possible (with an option for 24fps playback), while audio options include 2-channel down-mixing and pass-though for both HDMI and SPDIF (Sony Philips digital interface) outputs.

The MED500X2 has a couple of ports. HDMI, component, composite video, optical and coaxial digital audio, USB and Gigabit Ethernet. You can easily browse all the files, or filter by music, photos or movies after selecting the source. External USB storage can be used as an alternative for an internal hard drive, but MED500X2 connects seamlessly to both shared network drives and UPnP media servers.

View your photos with ease through slideshows that can be pepped up with a few simple transitions and your choice of background music. You can browse videos in almost every format using the thumbnail provision making it easy to look for the files, making video playback hassle free as well.

This multi-function media player lets you access your favorite websites such as Youtube, Facebook and other sites! With MED500X2 you can get the maximum TV experience in your own room!

After the introduction and a couple of questions here and there, we were set to enjoy the movie that eveyone voted for. The Dark Knight. and so we did, with over flowing, heart-warming foooood!!
Fellow bloggers all cozy-ied up before the movie. :) More pictures here and at the slideshow below.

Bloggers enjoying the movie and then was paused because they just had to give away one unit...arrgghh!!! i was feeling it! :) i though i was going to win!! it was close. :) hehe, after the announcement, the awesome Dark Knight movie was resumed. :)
