I'm happy that i get to be a part of the small group for this Bloggers Party of Bizu. (mouth waters). Yes.. I know what you are thinking. Not only is their food and desserts good, But realllly goood! Don't get me started... So what is up with the gathering of foodies and bloggers? Well it's their 10th year and they are coming  up with a promo Photo Contest and Exhibit called "Joie de Vivre".

Joie De vivre is a French Term that literally translates as 'the Joy of living.' Not The joy of life, but the joy of living: the active, energetic, enthusiastic engagement in the business of being alive. Is not just about optimism or even cheerfulness or acquiring the best of this or the latest of that, but about finding the pleasure intrinsic with being alive no matter what the conditions.

Arrived the Bizu in Greenbelt 2, just in time  to sign up, look for a seat, take pictures and chat with fellow bloggers.

Mr. Aaron Tanco then took center stage as he welcomed us and  shared the story of Bizu, on how it all started 10 years ago. (really fascinating story) It was a light and casual story telling with a little bit of joke inserts in between.

After the run down  on how it all started, Aaron shared to us their promo / contest for their decade achievement. Truly a food business / restaurant reaching 10 years is a milestone, and instead of slowing down, they are opening 2 more branches towards the end of the year and more next year.

Appetizing and tasteful desserts welcomes me as waiters keep on dropping by at our table. I forgot the appetizer's names already, but all i can say is they are all different from each other and a different type of good also.

Upon registration, they also gave us this disposable camera for us to take pictures in relation to their "Joie de Vivre" promo. (really cool!)

Fellow bloggers having fun and trying out their cams. :)

 Our Menu for the night.
Classic French Onion Soup - P 245.00
Red Onions, beef stock, croutons, gratinated emmenthal and gruyere
I was told that this is one of the best in the country if not  the world?! sounds too ambitious? why not. It is soooo good. Aaron shared that tasting a french onion soup here and abroad still you couldn't find anything close to this French onion that Bizu has, why? It is patterned and made for the Filipino tongues and taste. I don't eat soup much but this one, you just gotta have it. Never miss this when dining at Bizu.

Bizu Truffle Salad  - P 275.00
Mesclun, tarragon, shallots, grilled button mushrooms, blanced asparagus,
cherry tomatoes, shaved parmesan, truffle jus dressing and hollandaise
Not much of a salad and mushroom guys. But this one is certainly different, the mix of taste and explosion on my mouth is somewhat different and good at the same time. I like how the Asparagus has just the right firmness and how the truffles just plays with my taste buds.

10- hours US Roast Beef - P 595.00
Slow-cooked USDA beef belly, potato gratin, grilled vegetables, horseradish and mushroom espagnole
I am a big fan of Roast beef sandwiches, big i was missing out on a lot upon tasting this oh so nice offering of Bizu, It was so soft with taste so exquisite and full of flavor. This Beef belly is so good that I don't even want to swallow the food. (Yes that good!)

I wasn't able to take picture of the last one in the menu which is the Trio Desserts which consists of

Macaron De Paris  Per Piece - P45.00, Box of 8 - P 355.00, Box of 14 - P 615.00
Now with less sugar and more almonds! Available flavors are Blueberry,
Butterscotch, Chocolate Mint, Coffee, Raspberry, Rose, Chocolate,
 Lemon, Mango, Pistachio and Vanilla

Strawberry Chiboust  Personal - P 275.00, Midi - P 1,050.00, Grande - P 2,385.00
Classic French-style cheesecake topped with fresh seasonal strawberries drenched in our very own light syrup.
Opera Cake -
A classic gateau of sponge cake with coffee butter cream and dark chocolate ganache.
Which then brings me to Bizu's offering on their 10th year. It's the "Joie de Vivre" Photo Contest!
