Apple iPhone Duo Foldable Specs & Official Philippine Pricing | Mix of Everything
Apple has officially unveiled the iPhone Duo, marking the company's long-awaited debut in the foldable smartphone market. Engineered from grade 5 titanium and Ceramic Shield 2, the device is designed to offer maximum versatility without compromising on durability.
When closed, the iPhone Duo functions via a compact 5.4-inch outer Super Retina XDR display. When opened, it expands into an ultra-thin 7.6-inch inner display finished with a custom glare-reducing nano-texture. The display's inner architecture utilizes a custom polymer cover layer, high-strength glass layers that glide past one another to relieve bend stress, and a 3D-printed titanium hinge cover.
Under the hood, the iPhone Duo is powered by the A20 Pro chip built on a 2nm process, featuring a custom vapor chamber thermal system and a dual-battery design. It delivers up to 31 hours of video playback on the inner screen and up to 44 hours on the outer screen. The device also introduces an eSIM-only framework globally, which is fully supported in the Philippines by carriers including Globe and Smart.
The camera setup features a 48MP Fusion Main camera and a 48MP Fusion Ultra Wide camera. The foldable form factor unlocks dedicated shooting modes such as Duo Preview, Smart Take, Kid Cue, and Duo FaceTime. Additionally, Apple confirmed that support for Apple Pencil with USB-C will arrive on the iPhone Duo later this year.
