Global mobility and delivery platform inDrive has officially joined the World Economic Forum’s (WEF) Unicorn Community, an invitation-only group of high-growth companies recognized for driving innovation and creating meaningful impact across global industries and communities.

The recognition highlights inDrive’s continued mission to build a more people-driven digital economy, one where technology is not just about convenience, but also about expanding access, improving transparency, and addressing real community needs. Through its participation in the WEF Unicorn Community, inDrive will contribute insights on mobility, innovation, and economic inclusion, including discussions on women’s entrepreneurship and education in emerging markets such as the Philippines.

The World Economic Forum serves as an international platform for public-private cooperation, bringing together leaders from business, government, academe, and civil society to address global challenges. Its Unicorn Community is one of its key Global Innovator Communities, designed to foster collaboration and develop solutions for today’s pressing economic and social issues.

Since entering the Philippine market in 2024, inDrive has steadily expanded its footprint, positioning the country as one of its fastest-growing mobility hubs in Southeast Asia. In 2025, market intelligence firm Sensor Tower ranked inDrive among the most-downloaded travel apps in the Philippines and the second most-downloaded ride-hailing app globally, underscoring its rapid adoption.

Beyond growth metrics, inDrive has also strengthened its local engagement through partnerships aimed at improving transportation safety, public welfare, and skills development. The company has collaborated with the Department of Health (DOH) to promote smoke- and vape-free rides, supporting healthier commuting environments for both passengers and drivers.

It has also worked with the Philippine National Police (PNP) and the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) to support safer mobility and upskilling initiatives—reinforcing its commitment to combining technology with community-centered development.

“Joining the World Economic Forum’s Unicorn Community is an important milestone for inDrive as we continue to scale globally and increase our impact,” said Arsen Tomsky, Founder and CEO of inDrive. “Our mission has always been to challenge injustice by giving people more control over their choices. We look forward to contributing to the Forum’s dialogue on building more inclusive, transparent, and equitable digital economies.”

“The Philippines is one of Southeast Asia’s most dynamic mobility markets,” said Sofia Guinto, Country Manager of inDrive Philippines. “Being part of the Unicorn Community allows us to bring Filipino commuter and driver perspectives into global conversations on fair and accessible mobility, while strengthening our commitment to real-world solutions.”

Through its participation in the WEF Unicorn Community, inDrive aims to collaborate with global leaders in shaping the future of urban mobility and inclusive economic systems, while bringing insights from emerging markets like the Philippines into global policy and innovation discussions.
