Rome Meets Amalfi: UNIQLO Philippines Unveils 2026 Spring/Summer "Ultimate Basic" Collection with Star-Studded Lineup
This summer, simplicity gets a promotion. UNIQLO Philippines officially launched its 2026 Spring/Summer collection at the historic Foro de Intramuros, introducing the concept of the "Ultimate Basic." The new line focuses on "intelligent simplicity"—elevating everyday essentials through breathable fabrics, relaxed silhouettes, and the high-performance technology of LifeWear.
The collection takes its style cues from two iconic Italian locales:
- Urban Rome: Featuring crisp white palettes and clean lines inspired by modern architecture.
- Amalfi Coast: Bringing a seaside mood with bright colors, airy linens, and lightweight AIRism essentials.
To bring the "Ultimate Basic" to life, UNIQLO introduced its refreshed roster of local partners. Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo and Matteo Guidicelli headline the Core T-shirt and Linen lines, joined by Solenn Heussaff (Linen), Alexa Ilacad (Bra Tops), Kianna Dy (UV Protection), and Anthony Constantino (Jeans).
"Our goal is to create clothes designed for life’s needs," said Geraldine Sia, UNIQLO Philippines COO. "This collection is light, fresh, and fun to style, allowing everyone to enjoy the warm weather to the fullest."
Beyond the core essentials, the season features highly anticipated UT collaborations, including the brand's first-ever K-pop girl group collection with BABYMONSTER, alongside designs from Disney, The Powerpuff Girls, and MoMA.
