Xiaomi is making everyday listening smarter and more stylish with the introduction of two new audio wearables in the Philippines: the Mijia Smart Audio Glasses and REDMI Buds 8 Lite. The new devices arrive alongside the recently launched REDMI Note 15 Series, further expanding Xiaomi’s growing AIoT ecosystem designed for modern, on-the-go lifestyles.
Smart eyewear designed for everyday living
Blending classic eyewear aesthetics with modern audio technology, the Mijia Smart Audio Glasses offer an open-ear listening experience that keeps users connected to their surroundings while enjoying music, calls, or voice assistant features. Equipped with an integrated speaker system and four microphones, the glasses feature wind-noise reduction technology for clearer audio during outdoor activities like commuting, walking around the city, or traveling.
A newly introduced privacy mode helps reduce sound leakage during calls, making them practical for both work and personal use. The glasses are available in three stylish designs: Titanium, Pilot-Style, and Browline, combining fashion and functionality. Selected variants include blue-light protection lenses, while the Pilot-Style option offers UV400-protection sunglasses.
Designed for comfort, the Titanium model features ultra-light 27.6g frames, while interchangeable frames and a quick-release mechanism allow users to easily switch styles. Durability is also a priority, with reinforced hinges rated for thousands of flexes and an IP54 dust- and splash-resistant rating, making the glasses suitable for daily use in varying conditions.
Battery performance supports all-day convenience. A quick 10-minute charge provides up to four hours of playback, while a full charge delivers up to 13 hours of music listening. Through the Xiaomi Glasses app, users can customize gesture controls, activate voice assistants, switch between devices, record audio, and even locate misplaced glasses.
The Mijia Smart Audio Glasses will be available starting at P10,999, with the Titanium variant priced from P12,999.
Everyday audio made accessible
For users looking for reliable daily earbuds, Xiaomi introduces the REDMI Buds 8 Lite, designed with practicality, sound quality, and affordability in mind. Available in Black, White, and Blue, the earbuds feature a 12.4mm titanium-diaphragm driver that delivers clear and detailed sound.
With Bluetooth® 5.4 connectivity, support for AAC and SBC codecs, and dual-device connection, the earbuds easily switch between devices such as smartphones and laptops. They also include Transparency mode and up to 42dB hybrid active noise cancellation, helping users stay focused whether commuting, working, or relaxing.
For clearer calls outdoors, dual-mic AI environmental noise cancellation helps isolate the user’s voice even in windy environments. The Xiaomi Earbuds app allows users to personalize listening through five preset EQ modes and custom tuning options.
Built for busy schedules, the earbuds support fast charging, providing up to two hours of playback from just 10 minutes of charging. With the charging case, users can enjoy up to 36 hours of total listening time.
The REDMI Buds 8 Lite will be available starting at P1,199.
In addition to these new audio devices, Xiaomi also announced the availability of other AIoT products in the Philippines, including the Mijia Smart Air Purifier Max, Xiaomi Electric Scooter 6, and Xiaomi Electric Scooter 6 Lite, now accessible through authorized Xiaomi stores nationwide.
