Beyond the Cup: ACM, CHAGEE, and STB Unveil "Garden of Senses," a Multi-Sensory Tea Journey in Singapore
SINGAPORE, JANUARY 13, 2026 – Tea is more than just a drink; it is a ritual of mindfulness, a bridge between cultures, and now, a fully immersive art experience. The Asian Civilisations Museum (ACM), in partnership with global tea sensation CHAGEE and the Singapore Tourism Board (STB), has officially announced the launch of "Garden of Senses: A Tea Reverie."
Opening its doors from January 28 to June 7, 2026, this first-of-its-kind showcase invites visitors to rediscover tea through sight, touch, sound, and scent. This isn't your typical museum visit—it’s a lifestyle experience where history meets modern creativity. Visitors can wander through sculptural installations inspired by floating tea leaves and experience the "Symphony of Tea," an ASMR-inspired soundscape that captures the rhythmic soul of tea-making.
"Tea has always been a cultural connector," says Lawrence Wen, CEO of CHAGEE Singapore. "Through this exhibition, we invite visitors to experience tea not just as heritage, but as a living ritual that continues to evolve in modern life."
Exclusive Pop-Up and "Merlion x Horse" Collectibles The experience extends beyond the museum walls to a special CHAGEE pop-up along the scenic Singapore River. For the collectors and tea lovers, CHAGEE is launching two exclusive plush charms featuring a unique "Merlion-Horse" design—honoring both Singapore’s identity and the ancient tea trade routes. While the light brown variant is available to all, a limited-edition light blue charm is reserved exclusively for exhibition ticket holders.
Plan Your Visit Perfect for a weekend cultural date or a mindful solo retreat, the "Garden of Senses" is accessible via the ACM All Access ticket ($25 for tourists; $12 for Singaporeans/PRs). Whether you’re a tea connoisseur or a lifestyle seeker looking for the next "Instagrammable" yet meaningful spot, this tea reverie is a must-visit.
