Discover UNIQLO’s 2025 Fall/Winter Collection, “Revisiting Classic,” which blends timeless pieces with modern style. Read my first impressions from the Manila press preview and see why these versatile LifeWear essentials fit every lifestyle.
I had the chance to attend the media preview of UNIQLO’s 2025 Fall/Winter Collection at Gallio Events Hall in Parañaque. The collection, called “Revisiting Classic,” really stood out for how it modernizes timeless styles without losing comfort or function.
The theme was clear the moment the looks were unveiled: a balance of contrasts. The pieces played with structure and ease, mixing sporty elements with classic tailoring, and bringing together feminine and masculine touches. It felt familiar yet refreshing, like a wardrobe you could easily style for work, travel, or casual days out.
During the presentation, I got to see how some of UNIQLO’s celebrity partners styled the collection. Donny Pangilinan showed how layering can bring out the versatility of the new JW Anderson Straight Jeans, while Solenn Heussaff paired a soft Merino Crew Neck Sweater with a satin skirt, simple but effortlessly chic. Kianna Dy highlighted the Sport Utility Wear line, perfect for active lifestyles, while Jasmine Curtis-Smith modeled some of the updated HEATTECH and PUFFTECH pieces that are ideal for traveling to colder countries.
Personally, the jeans caught my eye. The JW Anderson Straight Jeans have that vintage straight fit that never really goes out of style, and this season they come in new colors, Deep Blue for women and Gray for men. They’re 100% cotton, which makes them breathable and easy to wear all day. Watching Donny style them made me realize how practical they’d be in my own wardrobe.
Another standout for me was the Washable Milano Ribbed Sweater. As someone who moves around a lot during the day, I appreciate knitwear that’s stylish but also durable. The fabric has a nice bounce to it, and the fact that it’s machine-washable makes it even better for everyday use. Solenn mentioned how reliable UNIQLO’s knit pieces are, and seeing her in the ribbed jacket gave me some style ideas for the coming months.
For those who are planning trips abroad, the HEATTECH Cashmere Blend Tops really impressed me. They’re lightweight, smooth, and easy to layer, something Jasmine highlighted as a must-have for travel. I’ve packed bulky sweaters before and always ended up regretting the space they took in my luggage, so these HEATTECH pieces seem like a great solution.
Another line worth mentioning is Sport Utility Wear. I could see why Kianna loves it, it’s not just for workouts. The Pocketable UV Protection Parka, AIRism Bra Sleeveless Top, and DRY-EX technology items all felt like essentials you could use daily in Manila’s unpredictable weather. They’re light, comfortable, and easy to style beyond the gym.

What also makes this season exciting are the collaborations. Aside from the JW Anderson pieces, UNIQLO is releasing designs under UNIQLO : C by Clare Waight Keller, as well as new updates to UNIQLO U, the PEACE FOR ALL charity T-shirts, and a collaboration with French fashion brand Comptoir des Cotonniers. It shows that the brand continues to evolve while staying true to its LifeWear philosophy.
Walking out of the event, what stayed with me was how practical yet stylish the collection felt. It wasn’t about pushing trends too hard, but rather about giving us clothes that fit into real, everyday lifestyles. Whether it’s jeans that can be dressed up or down, knitwear that withstands the wash, or HEATTECH that saves space in your luggage, the 2025 Fall/Winter Collection gives wardrobe staples a modern refresh.
