Explore the DJI Osmo 360, DJI's first-ever 360° action camera with 8K video, dual square sensors, and powerful stabilization.
DJI has officially entered the 360° camera market with the launch of the Osmo 360, marking a major step forward for action cameras. This is DJI’s first true 360° device and it's packed with features that are setting new standards in the category. Whether you’re a content creator, traveler, or simply someone who wants to capture life from every angle, the Osmo 360 is worth a closer look.
At the heart of the Osmo 360 are two custom-designed 1/1.1-inch square CMOS sensors, which together deliver stunning 360° footage. DJI designed these sensors specifically for immersive video, resulting in up to 25% more sensor utilization compared to traditional 4:3 sensors. This means less data is wasted and more of your scene is captured with better clarity and light sensitivity.
The camera shoots in 8K at 30fps natively, and up to 8K 50fps with upscaling, a first in the 360° action cam space. You can also shoot in 4K at up to 100fps for slow-motion content or choose single-lens recording at 5K 60fps and even 4K 120fps when you want more traditional action cam shots. DJI offers flexibility here, letting users switch between panoramic and single-lens modes without interrupting recording, a big win for vloggers and adventurers.
In real-world terms, that means you can capture incredibly smooth, high-resolution video whether you’re skiing, biking, hiking, or filming a live event. DJI's RockSteady 3.0 and HorizonSteady stabilization tech help ensure the footage stays level and shake-free, even in high-motion scenarios. For low-light and night shooting, there's SuperNight Mode, and features like Hyperlapse, timelapse, and intelligent tracking add creative options for storytellers.
Battery life is also impressive. The Osmo 360 can shoot up to 100 minutes of continuous 8K 30fps panoramic video or 190 minutes at 6K 24fps. It works in extreme conditions too, capable of recording for over an hour in temperatures as low as -20°C. Thanks to fast charging, you can get back to filming quickly, reaching 50% battery in just 12 minutes.
The camera also brings innovation in still photography. It captures high-res 120MP panoramic photos and 30.72MP 4:3 images from a single lens, giving photographers room to experiment. Storage is another strong point: the Osmo 360 includes 128GB of built-in storage (105GB usable), plus support for up to 1TB microSD cards.
Physically, the Osmo 360 is lightweight at just 183g, IP68-rated waterproof, and rated for use at depths of up to 10 meters. The camera uses the same 1950mAh battery and magnetic quick-release system as the Osmo Action 5 Pro, which is great if you're already invested in DJI’s ecosystem. It also includes a standard 1/4-20 mount at the bottom, making it compatible with tripods and mounts you already own.
The 2-inch touchscreen display is bright enough for outdoor use, and you can control the device via physical buttons, the DJI Mimo app, voice commands, or even hand gestures. There’s also Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth for fast transfers and connectivity. Audio-wise, the Osmo 360 supports direct mic input from two DJI transmitters (Mic 2 or Mic Mini), removing the need for a receiver.
For those editing at home or on the go, DJI Studio and DJI Mimo offer robust post-processing features. Mimo’s GyroFrame gives you control over your 360° composition by using motion control, and there’s even intelligent subject tracking built-in, perfect for filming pets, people, or vehicles.
DJI has also launched a variety of accessories tailored to the Osmo 360, including mounts, invisible selfie sticks, battery extension rods, and a carrying bag. All accessories are available individually, letting users build a setup based on their specific needs.
Pricing
Pricing for the Osmo 360 is competitive, especially for what it offers. The Standard Combo is priced at PHP24,490 and includes the camera, a protective pouch, and lens protector. The Adventure Combo at PHP30,990 adds more functionality with two Extreme Battery Plus units, a 1.2m Invisible Selfie Stick, and a multi-functional battery case. Compared to competitors like the Insta360 X5, the Osmo 360 offers more built-in features like internal storage and better sensor performance at a similar price point, making it an excellent value for creators looking to upgrade.
