Ahead of the official Huawei Pura 80 Series launch in Bangkok, we got an exclusive early look at the device. Here's what I can share so far—full details coming soon!
It’s not every day you get to try a phone before it’s officially launched, but that’s exactly what happened. Ahead of the Huawei Pura 80 Series launch happening here in Bangkok, Thailand, we got early access to experience the phone firsthand, and I have to say, it’s looking like Huawei is ready to shake things up once again.
While I can’t spill all the details just yet, what I can say is that the design language has completely evolved. The Pura 80 Series looks and feels premium, with a new aesthetic that’s clearly inspired by luxury and craftsmanship. It’s a bold move from Huawei—and one that definitely caught my eye the moment I picked up the device.
Camera-wise, I was able to test Huawei Pura 80 Pro's zoom and low-light shooting capabilities, and the results were seriously impressive. From 3.7x up to 10x zoom, the details held up surprisingly well. Even in low-light conditions, the shots retained their crispness. I snapped a few photos while walking around Bangkok, and I’ll be sharing some of them here so you can see the early performance for yourself.
There are also a few AI-driven touches that I found surprisingly useful during my initial try. I’ll dive into those in full once the official launch wraps, but let’s just say it’s clear Huawei isn’t just refining hardware, they’re rethinking how we use our phones every day.

The official launch event is just around the corner, and I’ll be right here in Bangkok covering it as it happens. You can expect a full blog post with all the specs, pricing, and hands-on impressions right after the big reveal.
Stay tuned, full details are coming soon!
