Call of Duty: Mobile is back with another action-packed season as Season 7: Phantom Current officially launches on July 30, 2025, at 5:00 PM PT (July 31, 2025, at 8:00 AM Philippine Time). This new season dives deep into high-seas themes, exciting gameplay changes, and limited-time events that will keep both casual and competitive players engaged all season long.
One of the standout features of Phantom Current is the all-new RC-XD Car Racing Multiplayer Mode, known as Mini Mayhem. This fast-paced, fun mode lets players race RC cars across several maps. Up to eight players can compete in multi-lap races, dodging hazards and fighting for first place. Crash into danger zones and your car explodes, sending you back to the nearest checkpoint. The mode includes a leaderboard and rewards like custom vehicle skins, making it a great change of pace from the usual gunplay.
A major first for Call of Duty: Mobile is the arrival of the Gulag in Battle Royale. Previously only seen in Warzone, this feature gives eliminated players a second chance to rejoin the fight. After your first elimination on the Isolated map, you're sent to a 1v1 fight in the Gulag. Win, and you're back in the game. Lose, and you’ll have to wait for a teammate to buy your dog tag at a Buy Station. Everyone gets one free attempt, with more tries available through Gulag Tickets from the Buy Station.
Multiplayer gets another boost with the new Skill Overdrive Wildcard, which lets you equip a second Operator Skill. This adds extra firepower but comes with a cost, so players will need to choose wisely to keep their loadouts balanced.
The Battle Pass for Season 7 brings a mix of free and premium content packed with ocean-themed skins, gear, and weapons. Free tier players can unlock the new MG 82 LMG, a light machine gun known for its fast fire rate and large magazine, and the Bomb Drone Scorestreak, plus other items like Vault Coins and Weapon Blueprints.
Premium Battle Pass holders get access to exclusive skins like Farah – Stealth, Kreuger – Deep Six, Ethan – AQUA-44, and Stone – Painkiller. New weapon blueprints include the KN-44 – Angler, QQ9 – Odyssey 09, Peacekeeper MK2 – Technautilus, and the MG 82 – Dreadnought.
If you subscribe to the Ground Forces Battle Pass, you’ll also unlock special monthly rewards and get a 10% boost to XP and discounts in the store. This season's rewards include the Zane – Monsoon Season Operator Skin, SKS – Carrier Strike weapon, and a themed backpack.

There’s a lot happening in the in-game events section too. The Challenge Pass offers Summer-themed rewards by completing tasks across Standard, Special, and Elite Missions. You’ll collect tokens to trade for rewards like the Soap – Toxic Splash skin or Jet Skies camo.
The new Secret Caches event introduces the RUS-79U – Mystical Lamp, a legendary weapon you can start working towards by hitting milestones and collecting special items from the cache system.

Also launching this season is a crossover with Girls’ Frontline. This event brings themed Operator Skins, Legendary weapons, and other cosmetics through login rewards, in-game challenges, a Lucky Draw, a Bundle, and a Strongbox. Keep an eye on the Events tab to stay on top of this limited-time collab.

In the Store, one of the biggest additions is the Dark Shepherd – Phantom from the new Mythic Draw. This dark, reaper-inspired Operator comes with the AS-VAL – Shadow Marksman and a Legendary scythe called Soldering Edge. Unlocking the Mythic upgrade path lets you customize the Operator with new visuals, kill effects, and reticles.

Other Legendary draws include:
  • Bloody Seas Lucky Draw with the Nyx Operator Skin and USS 9 – Spectral Seas
  • Fathomless Lucky Draw featuring the Bathysphere Operator Skin and JAK-12 – Briny Deep
  • Broken Tides Lucky Draw offering the Lustre Operator Skin and Grau 5.56 – Immense Tides
To help players get more value, Double CP returns this season. For a limited time, you’ll get twice the COD Points with every purchase, available in-game or via the Web Store for certain regions.

For those who missed older Battle Passes, two classics are coming back through the Battle Pass Vault: Zombies Are Back (Season 9, 2022) and Ultimate Frontier (Season 11, 2022).
