Xiaomi launches its new AI Glasses with 8+ hours of battery life and voice control, alongside the OpenWear Stereo Pro earbuds featuring five drivers, Harman tuning, and all-day comfort.
Xiaomi has once again stirred the tech world with its latest announcements, unveiling two exciting new wearables at a major launch event in China, the Xiaomi AI Glasses and the OpenWear Stereo Pro earbuds. Both products show off Xiaomi’s approach to innovation and are packed with features that blend practicality with smart technology, aiming to elevate the everyday experience of users who are always connected.
Starting with the Xiaomi AI Glasses, the company enters the smart glasses arena with a product that clearly targets the same audience as Ray-Ban Meta, but with several unique upgrades. These glasses ditch traditional screens entirely and instead rely on full voice control for interaction. Built with a lightweight frame that tips the scale at just 40 grams, they feel easy to wear throughout the day, and their design allows for optional prescription or electrochromic lenses.
Under the hood, the glasses are powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon AR1 platform and run on Xiaomi’s own Vela OS. A standout feature is the 2K video recording capability (1440p at 30fps) using a 12MP Sony IMX681 camera. This allows users to shoot first-person videos, take photos, or even livestream directly from the glasses. Audio is just as advanced, with five built-in microphones using bone-conduction and wind-noise reduction tech, plus dual speakers for listening to media or calls.
Battery life is another strong point. With a 263mAh battery, the Xiaomi AI Glasses are rated for up to 8 hours and 36 minutes of use on a single charge significantly more than competing products. The inclusion of a USB-C port means users can charge them easily without depending on a separate charging case, making them more travel-friendly. Color options include Black, Brown, and Green, and the price in China is set at CNY 1,999 (around $278). There’s no word yet on a global release, but expectations are high.
Xiaomi didn’t stop with smart eyewear. They also introduced the OpenWear Stereo Pro, a pair of open-ear wireless earbuds designed for all-day comfort and clear audio. Made with skin-friendly liquid silicone and shaped to stay in place with a three-point support system, these earbuds are built for long wear without causing discomfort. The titanium wire ear hooks add a touch of durability while keeping things lightweight.
These earbuds offer an industry-first five-driver setup, featuring a large 18×13mm loudspeaker and sound tuning done by the Harman Golden Ear Team, promising a rich and balanced sound experience. Users also get AI-powered tools like real-time translation, transcription, and built-in audio recording, making these earbuds useful beyond just music and calls.
Battery performance is solid here too. Each earbud lasts up to 8.5 hours on a full charge, and with the included case, total playback time reaches up to 45 hours. They’re IP54 rated for water and dust resistance, and they come in Gold, Black, and Silver colors. In China, the price is set at CNY 999 (about $140).

Both the AI Glasses and OpenWear Stereo Pro show how Xiaomi is aiming to build a smart ecosystem that is not just stylish but also highly functional. Whether you're a tech enthusiast, content creator, or someone who wants seamless communication and convenience on the go, these new wearables might be worth keeping an eye on especially if they make it to the global market soon.
