Things I love about the ASUS Vivobook S 14X OLED (S5402)

The ASUS Vivobook has been a constant everyday essential for me for a couple of months now. In this blog, I would be sharing with you some of the things I love about the Vivobook S 14X OLED (S5402).

It's already given, ASUS has cemented and earned the No. 1 spot for OLED laptops. So it's pretty obvious to mention that the OLED screen feature of this laptop is one of the reasons why you should love this Vivobook S 14X.

World-leading 14.5" 2.8K 120Hz OLED display.
16:10 aspect ratio, 2880 x 1800 resolution, Three-sided NanoEdge 87.4% screen-to-body ratio, 0.2 ms response time, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, PANTONE® Validated, 600 nits peak brightness

You can't argue that the ASUS Vivobook is one of the laptops that is very portable. The Vivobook S Series laptops are actually one of the thinnest and lightest in the Vivobook family. The chassis measures just 17.9 mm thin and weighs just around 1.67 kg.
The looks have that very modern design with metal lids with all-metal construction. Definitely a style statement with the choice of youthful and classy colors like Midnight Black, Solar Silver, and Sand Grey.

I did mention in the previous blog post here about the ESC button and Enter button being different, but what I was not able to mention is the keyboard. The Ergo Sense Keyboard gives the best typing experience. Engineered to give great input experience on how we naturally move and type, the ErgoSense keyboard has that very satisfying feeling with great key travel and nice bounce. Giving you an edge in cruising through the work on that laptop.
Don't get me started on the ports! Laptops like this with other brands don't have the full I/O ports that the ASUS Vivobook OLED 14X can offer. This one has two ultrafast Thunderbolt USB-C with external display support and data transfers, an HDMI 2.0 supporting 4k display, USB 3.2 Gen1 Type A on both sides and an audio combo jack.

This high-performing laptop is powered by a 12th Gen Intel Core i7 12700H (with Intel Evo certification on selected models) and along with Intel Iris Xe. What's cool about this is that this is upgradable to 16 GB DDR4 RAM and has an ultrafast 1 TB PCIe SSD. Cooler, quieter, and faster with the ASUS IceCool thermal technology, the ASUS Vivobook S series is capable of performing comfortably at blistering 45 watts in total Thermal Design Power while in Performance Mode. How's that for performance!

The Vivobook S 14X OLED is equipped with the amazing Harman Karon-certified audio system. It has the lastest DTS audio technology giving you distortion-free audio. They bass is deep because of the powerful speakers. The DTS Audio Processing makes the speakers sound bigger and better. Here you get to enjoy the sounds, movies and series more.

There's so much more to love about the ASUS Vivobook 14X OLED. If you saw the OLED screen, you can see that it has the NanoEdge display and it's really thin on the sides and top to give you a more immersive experience.

The ASUS VivoBook S 14X OLED has this user-friendly design which is a key feature of the Vivobook S series. It can conveniently lay flat 180° hinges giving you that versatility.

The next few ones are some added features that just make the whole experience of using this laptop more convenient and next level. This laptop has a bigger and better touchpad. ASUS calls it the NumberPad. Bigger by 53%, this gives you smoother and more responsive fingertip control. Just a light touch on a button activates the ASUS NumberPad 2.0 making number crunching much easier.

Security is a big thing as well. So here, the fingerprint scanner is embedded in the power button so it is now easier and more secure. No need to type your password every time and all you have to do is touch it. The Vivobook S 14X OLED has an integrated privacy shield that slides the webcam for privacy. This will definitely shield you from prying eyes and other disturbances.

I just love that this laptop performs multi-tasking and some heavy tasks. I edit my videos in this laptop and it's just an amazing partner to have may it be basic document work, entertainment, and heavy graphic and design requirements.
