Trying out the Xiaomi Redmi A1 - Review

0

It has been a while since I reviewed a Xiaomi phone and it's the first time for me to get my hands on a Redmi! So psyched to be testing out the Redmi A1, so without further adieu, let's go.

Let's get the camera details out of the way since I know many of you would like to know about this. The phone sports an 8MP AI dual front camera and a 5MP on the rear.

Holidays were the perfect time to test the camera so I did what needs to be done. So below are some shots I took with no post-editing.

The camera on the rear and front performed nicely in a lit environment. I was also able to take it outdoors during the day. Here are the shots below.
And a bit more detailed shots.
and of course a selfie!
The performance of the camera is not that bad actually, considering the quality of it in its price range. Note that this is an entry-level phone and even with the 8MP, it can still provide clear details may it be landscape and some detailed shots.

One thing I noticed is that the Xiaomi Redmi A1 has a large 6.52 HD+ display. I mean look at that!
Users of this, I'm guessing most students would appreciate the large display for their school assignments and even for entertainment and games with the HD+ scratch-resistant display with a resolution of 1600 x 720.

The Xiaomi is powered by the efficient processor powered by the MediaTek helio A22. A good processor for entry-level phones that can accommodate decent games and some minor multitasking on school work and entertainment.

This smartphone also has a huge 5000mAh battery enough to last the whole day for school, work, or your multi-day-to-day use. It also comes with a 10W fast charger in-box This also supports expandable storage which is amazing! Up to 1TB! Now that's a lot of photos, movies, and games!

Kids these days or should I say younger ones love to express themselves with their styles and the Xiaomi Redmi A1 gives options to its customers by giving choices of colorways. Available in  Light Green, Light Blue, and Black. I do like the black color because it's subtle and somehow protects it from visible hits and bumps.

While the back of the phone is kind of Matte in texture and finish, it still leaves some minor marks if it's moist and a bit oily.

Now, for users who are looking for their first phone for their kids or high schoolers, this is a good option with just the right amount of features for its price. Definitely a smart choice.

One of the features of the Xiaomi Redmi phone is its affordability. Top-quality features without uncompromising its performance and that's what I like about the Xiaomi Redmi A1.

Here are the specs of the Xiaomi Redmi A1.
Xiaomi Redmi A1 is also on a special introductory promo. The early bird price is at PHP 3,999 so make sure that you take advantage of the P 500 discount because it's going to go back to its suggested retail price of Php 4,499.

Now definitely with this price #KayangBumidaWithRedmiA1 :)
