As pandemic protocols are being relaxed, Crimson Hotel Filinvest City has its part to play in celebrating Philippine hospitality and gastronomy at their finest with the different promotions under Chroma Hospitality’s Live Love Local campaign.

Created as a way of supporting both domestic tourism and local artisans from a diverse range of industries, the Live Love Local campaign champions local brands by giving them ample exposure to the local market and, in doing so, heighten local awareness regarding the excellence of Filipino products that are certainly world-class.

It is also Chroma Hospitality’s way of extending a compassionate hand towards provincial communities that were severely impacted by Typhoon Odette towards the end of 2021.

Local Delights are Popping Up
For those looking for beautiful local products and indulgent Filipino delicacies, the pop-up market at the Main Lobby in partnership with Likhang Munti of the City Government of Muntinlupa offers an excellent selection of items to choose from.

Participating artisans all hailing from the south of Manila include The Sunrise Grocer which offers handcrafted mugs and a tasty array of ready-to-eat seafood products; My Little Oven by Simplicity with its buttery lengua de gato cookies and hearty minasa [cassava biscuits]; Dielle’s Apiary & Meadery which specializes in bee products such as honey, mead [honey liqueur], and fruit wines; and Crimson’s very own Baker J which offers reusable bamboo tumblers, local jams, and a fine selection of local breads.

Guests may also create their own Live Love Local set featuring Baker J specialties, bamboo tumblers, and great coffee from El Union.

Treats for the Senses
Local flavors all come into play at Crimson, and even one’s morning coffee is beautifully infused with them by way of the Muscovado Latte with its salted caramel nuance and the sweet and earthy Ube Latte which incorporates the famed purple yam in several forms to create an unforgettable drink.
Baker J has also collaborated with award-winning local chocolatier Auro Chocolate for two indulgent packages that combine Filipino tastes with impeccable French techniques.
The Chocolat Gourmand set is the ultimate indulgence for chocoholics as it includes five signature chocolate cakes and pastries paired with either a Hot Dark Nutty Chocolate or a Hot Matcha White Chocolate.

For those who want an indulgence to share, there’s the Crazy for Cocoa Afternoon Tea set which includes a tempting array of Baker J x Auro Chocolate pastry collaborations, as well as a selection of savory sandwiches to tempt even the most capricious appetites.
The Manille Basil Splash

Finally, for those looking for a libation with a lot of local flair in partnership with Disteleria Limtuaco, head on over to Alibi Lounge & Bar for three unique cocktails that show off the pride of the Philippines. The Manille Basil Splash is a refreshing mix of gin, Manille calamansi liqueur, and fresh basil;

Haring Araw
The VOC-iri, on the other hand, puts a citrusy twist on a classic daiquiri as it blends fresh calamansi juice with Very Old Captain rum. For those who want something more robust, the Haring Araw made with Amadeo coffee liqueur and run is bound to wake up the senses.
