ASUS VivoBook 14. Ultra Portable Laptop That Lasts You For A Whole Day

Work & school life can be pretty demanding, and let's face it. There are just some requirements that a smartphone or a tablet could execute well compared to a decent performing laptop/PC. There are also a lot of things to consider when choosing the right laptop for you. For me, I usually go for an all-rounder. Something that offers premium features and decent performance but is not too expensive and that is the common challenge for most of us, especially the students, freelance creators and those who just started working. I came across the VivoBook 14 (X403) and it caught my attention. Let me share some of them to you.
The VivoBook 14 (X403) boasts up to 24 hours of battery life. Now I don't want to go too technical on this but it has a 72Wh 4-cell lithium-polymer battery, having a 3X-longer lifespan compared to similar batteries making VivoBook 14 one of the longest-lasting laptops in the VivoBook series. Of course that the battery life may vary depending on product configuration, usage, operational conditions & power management settings. The ASUS team have already tested it and knowing that it packs enough juice to get you through your day without having to carry around a power adaptor is something that's very convenient.

Frameless four-sided NanoEdge display has ultrathin 4.1mm bezels and an incredible 87% screen-to-body ratio for an immersive viewing experience. Its video is also greatly enhanced with ASUS Tru2Life video technology which optimizes sharpness and contrast of every pixel in every frame producing vivid and realistic visuals. Even if the display is super thin, they were still able to fit in a camera on top. 14-inch, 16:9 aspect ratio FHD (1920 x 1080) display.

VivoBook 14 is extremely portable with its 16.5mm thin profile and overall weight of just 1.3kg. Perfect for students on the go because it's light and so easy to use. It's also smaller than standard laptops with the same screen size. This is true, I compared it to other laptops in the market.

The body is an all-aluminum chassis giving a touch of sophistication & luxury which truly sets the VivoBook 14 (X403) above from its class. Available in Silver Blue & Petal Pink.
Ports of productivity.
1 USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type C, 1 USB Gen 1 Type A, 1 USB 2.0 Type A, 3.5 Audio Jack, 1 HDMI 1.4, 1 SD card reader & 1 DC jack.
Another thing that I am proud of is it's designed & tough body. The VivoBook (X403) passed the demanding military-grade standard 810 for durability and reliability. These units underwent tests and extended tests for harsh environments which like the drop test, shock test, vibration test, altitude test & humidity test.

ASUS Tru2Life Video Technology is an advanced video-tuning system that works like those found on high-end TVs. Clarity, color, and contrast in the video are enhanced. The result is colorful, vivid, sharper videos with as much as 150% improvement in contrast.

Even with the compact body and packing a large screen, ASUS made sure that the VivoBook 14 has an ergonomically-designed backlit keyboard that features one-piece construction with and 1.4mm key travel for comfortable typing.

The glass-covered touchpad with Windows gesture support is smooth to the touch. It supports Windows 10 gestures including multi-gesture input so it's very easy to switch apps or screen. It also supports handwriting recognition to input text or digital signature which I think is a very neat feature.
Now if you check out the upper right portion of the touchpad, you'd see a fingerprint sensor for quick and easy login via Windows Hello. Using fingerprint is more secure too!

The ASUS VivoBook 14 has the ASUS SonicMaster which is a combination of hardware, software and audio tuning designed with the goal of giving the best audio experience. It has powerful audio delivery and deeper bass. Optimize audio with ASUS AudioWizard allowing tuning software feature with five preset modes optimized for different kinds of content. Music, Movie, Recording, Gaming & Speech Mode. It has 2 built-in stereo speakers & array microphone.

In summary, I do recommend the VivoBook 14 X403 for its value for money. It runs on 8th Gen Intel Core i3 processor & Windows 10 Home. Graphics at Intel HD 620. 4GB onboard memory & 512 GB storage, enough for your contents, movies, and other work-related documents. Its lightweight but packs heavy features & functions. Weighing at 1.3kg it is convenient enough for students & professionals to carry around. Available in Silver Blue 7 Petal Pink, the VivoBook 14 X403 SRP is PHP 39,995.
