Halloween is just around the corner and Ocean Park Hong Kong has just launched their Spook-tastic Halloween Fest in Makati Shangri-La earlier today. The world-famous Park promises Fun and Scary Experiences All-day-and-Night for Entire Family.

The launch event was hosted by SamYG and shared that every year, the attendance of Filipino guest has increased 10%. They also shared videos and slide giving the trade partners and the media a first look into the exciting line - up of Halloween festivities.

The Ocean Park Halloween Fest is one of the much awaited seasonal attraction every year. The management team of Ocean Park Hong Kong was excited to share the news with us Filipinos of their new attractions and developments in the coming years so they flew here Manila to share the excitement.

I was able to have a chat with Michelle Lau who was the Public Affairs Manager of Ocean Park Hong Kong who was kind enough to answer my queries on the park redevelopments. She mentioned the latest attraction-H14. This is the first-ever reservation-only limited-admission. Michelle shares that this is the ultimate haunted attraction where the guests will need to complete a series of tasks within the locked chamber, challenging the limits of the senses and their innermost fears. Hongkong Ocean Park will also have Asia's first super-sized Doraemon-themed Halloween celebration, some mega Scaremonies and other attractions!

They also shared their upcoming development in the years to come like the Adventures in Australia. Set to open March 2015, this attraction will showcase koalas and other iconic animals from South Australia. In 2016, Ocean Park will open a dedicated subway for them to make it more convenient for guests to travel to-and-from the city. Another one of the major plans is their Ocean Hotel. Scheduled to open in 2017, the hotel will make it more convenient for the visitors to go around the park, because as what I heard, a day is not enough for you to enjoy the whole Park with all those attractions.

The event was also an official launch with the many partners that Ocean Park Hong Kong have in the country. They have a special promotional offer in partnership with flag carrier, Philippine Airlines. From now until December 31, passengers presenting valid boarding passes may enjoy a 12% discount on Ocean Park admission tickets within seven days of arrival in Hong Kong.

Additional discounts on the Park's food and beverage, retail products, and animal encounter programmes valued over HKD 400 also await guests who purchase Ocean Park Halloween Fest packages from local travel agents in the Philippines. Furthermore, guests of the park can also enjoy up to 10 to 15% discount on admission to 21 theme parks worldwide, including the Philippines' own Enchanted Kingdom.
