I know I was in for a ride in this new adventure but it wasn't exactly how I predicted it. They movie wasn't that predictable and it was actually fresh. There were moments where I found my self laughing alone.
I mean the whole shrinking thing is not original, it has a classic tale of the good versus bad. Really nice concept on the theme and story. Also has great attention to detail. EPIC touches on family relationships, founding one's purpose, care for mother earth and destroying the forces of evil! Yeah its awesome.
This is really good movie from the creators of Ice Age and Rio. The story is of an ongoing battle between the forces of good, who keep the natural world alive, and the forces of evil, who wish to destroy it. When a teenage girl finds herself magically transported into this secret universe, she teams up with an elite band of warriors and a crew of comical, larger-than-life figures, to save their world...and ours.
So who plays the characters voices? Amanda Seyfried, Jason Sudeikis, Beyonce Knowles, Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler, Colin Farrell, Josh Hutcherson, Pitbull, Blake Anderson, Aziz Ansari, Chris O’Dowd and Christoph Waltz. Now that's a lot right? You'd be amazed who voices who. :)
I like the movie. Its new, its funny and it was entertaining. :) Parents and kids will certainly enjoy the movie. Check out the trailer below.
