This is how I BonChon!!!

B O N C H O N - By reading those letters you could just imagine the taste of its crispiness in your mouth. It may be be the most perfect and the best fried chicken (debatable to others) but for me, I would have to say that for fried chicken, BonChon would be on top of my list.

BonChon recently had a gathering of online bloggers and spoiled every one with the delish food.
of course the chicken is the star and I can just munch on those right now

The best chicken also have other products to offer like
Ceasar Salad
Fish & Chips
ChapChae
Ginger Tofu Salad
Bulgogi rice

Their most recently opened store in BGC was the place of our mini gathering of BonChon lovers.

Just to refresh everyone, BonChon Chicken Philippines opened its first store in November 2010. And in just a little over a year, they now have 18 branches in Metro Manila.

- Alabang: Alabang Town Center
- Makati: Ayala Triangle, Greenbelt 1
- Manila: Taft (University Mall), Lucky Chinatown Mall, SM Manila
- Ortigas: Shangri-la Plaza, Robinsons Galleria, SM Megamall
- Pasay: SM Mall of Asia
- Quezon City: Libis, Katipunan, Tomas Morato, TriNoma, SM North Edsa Annex, SM Fairview
- San Juan: Greenhills Promenade
- Taguig: One Parkade in BGC

Yes, since it opened, BonChon has become one of the fastest-growing fried chicken-based QSR’s (Quick Service Restaurant) in the country, apart from being the biggest Korean–style crispy fried chicken chain locally.

BonChon is now on an aggressive expansion mode, and more stores will be opened within the next several months not only in Metro Manila but also in provincial Luzon and the VisMin area. It is also currently open to franchising.

It was a nice experience again to catch up with Mr. Scott Tan, the owner of BonChon Philippines. Had a little chat with him, and he shared how the stores are currently doing in terms of performance, and I was happy to hear the everything is doing well.

He mentioned also that he has some new food items lined up to be released within the next few months.

Scott shared to us also the way how their wings must be enjoyed. In one bite/munch. As what the real owner of BonChon taught him. I know that most of you don't want to munch on the wings, but eating it the BonChon way might change your mind.

Step 1: You remove the wing tip (you can munch on it before or after the de-boning the wing.)
Step 2: Get a feel on the end's tendon, put the mid-joint wing in your mouth, hold on to it and pull. and voila! de-boned!

Yeap, I tried it, and it makes sense. Eating BonChon Chicken with the crispy skin and its meat is just perfect. Removing the skin is no longer and option. It is official, we MUST eat BonChon Chicken as we are supposed to. Skin with the meat is the best way to do it.

The event was basically a dining event and to be able to sit down with the owner and be able to ask questions related to the food. Fellow bloggers certainly did enjoy stuffing themselves with the BonChon chicken in their mouth. I gotta say, I'm pretty guilty on that one as I did overwhelm my self with this delish fried chicken.

Jeman, seem to love the BonChon chicken (except the wings), as you can see, down to the bones and goodbye tendons. :)

They had a small activity where we had to put what we love in this BonChon board.
Honestly, I love all of it, i'd even throw in Ginger Salad and ChapChae, but for me to enjoy my BonChon, I stuck with the one below.

BonChon also introduced their Ko-Yo (Korean Yogurt) which I will feature on my next post. :)

I hope you liked the food shots that it makes your mouth water. So what are you waiting for? Go head now to your nearest BonChon or have some delivered to wherever you are. :)
