Apple Unveils HomeView: A New AI-Powered Smart Display for the Modern Home

Apple Announces HomeView Smart Display with Apple Intelligence | Mix of Everything

Bringing Entertainment, Connection, and Smart Control Together
Apple has officially announced Apple HomeView, a brand-new device designed to unify home entertainment, family communication, and smart home management into a single, centralized hub. Powered by Apple Intelligence with Siri AI, HomeView features a vibrant 7-inch Liquid Retina display and is built with privacy and security at its core.

Designed for versatility, HomeView can rest on tabletops using its domed speaker base and smooth stainless steel hinge or be mounted on walls in entryways and hallways using purpose-built mounts from Schneider Home. It is available in silver, starlight, rose pink, and space gray (with wall-mounted options offered in space gray and silver).

"HomeView brings people together around one shared experience, while recognizing each user and adapting to them privately," said Greg Joswiak, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing.
Key Features & Capabilities

• Multiuser Facial Recognition: HomeView can recognize up to six individual users by face, automatically personalizing their Home Screen apps, widgets, and private data in Messages, Calendar, and Reminders.
• Immersive Acoustic System: Equipped with room-filling Spatial Audio, dual full-range display drivers, a down-firing woofer, and computational audio that optimizes bass response in real time.
• Family Communication: Supports FaceTime with Center Stage framing, Intercom broadcasting to other HomeView or HomePod units, and hands-free recipe conversions in the kitchen.
• Advanced Privacy: Features Secure Exclaves on the A18 chip to isolate camera and microphone processing, ensuring data cannot be accessed by apps or Apple. Cloud requests utilize Private Cloud Compute for enhanced security.
