Recognizing the drive of the local community, Riot Games Philippines is officially kicking off the third season of Wild Rounds: Pilipinas Open. This premier grassroots competition for League of Legends: Wild Rift returns with a massive Php 1,000,000 prize pool and a direct path to the global stage.

 
A Welcoming Path to the International Stage
The tournament is a community-first initiative built to lower the barriers to entry for aspiring local teams. It’s not just about the money—it’s about giving grassroots players an opportunity to elevate their game, represent Pinoy pride, and experience international competition.

The tournament champion will take home Php 500,000 and secure a highly coveted spot at SMASH 2026 in South Korea this November—Riot Games’ cross-regional celebration of the global Wild Rift community. Second placers will take home Php 250,000, while third and fourth placers walk away with Php 125,000.

“With the strong return of Wild Rounds: Pilipinas Open this year, we remain committed to lowering the barriers to entry for aspiring grassroots communities to compete on an international level,” said Lara Antonio, Regional Community Lead, Wild Rift - APAC. “Beyond this capstone tournament, we’re building an even more inclusive and engaging local Wild Rift ecosystem to champion sustained connection and shared experiences among our Pinoy Wild Rift players and fans.”

 
The Split 1 Tournament Timeline
The 2026 competitive season is divided into two major splits nationwide. Following the close of registrations on June 2, teams will be shuffled into four distinct groups. The Group Stage matches will dominate the weekends of June and July:

• June 13 to 14: Groups A and B kick off the battle.
• June 20 to 21: Groups C and D take the stage.
• June 27 to 28: Groups E and F battle it out.
• July 4 to 5: Groups G and H close the group stages.

The top two teams from each group will advance to the intense playoffs qualifiers from July 10 to 12. From there, the top four squads secure a comfortable slot in the final community playoffs in September, while the remaining teams must fight for survival in Split 2.
