Education and community spirit came together as Canon Marketing (Philippines), Inc. led a meaningful Brigada Eskwela initiative at Lagro High School, helping prepare classrooms ahead of the new school year through a hands-on volunteer effort with employees, faculty, and students.
The activity transformed the school grounds into a vibrant hub of collaboration, where Canon employees and student council members worked side by side to repaint and refresh classrooms. What started as a day of physical preparation quickly became a shared experience of teamwork, laughter, and connection—reflecting the true spirit of Brigada Eskwela.
Beyond fresh coats of paint and improved learning spaces, the initiative aimed to create classrooms that feel more welcoming, inspiring students to return with renewed motivation and confidence for the year ahead.
Adding to its contribution, Canon Marketing Philippines also donated printers to support the school’s academic and administrative needs. These tools are expected to help streamline everyday tasks for educators while enhancing the learning experience for students.
“Our participation in Brigada Eskwela reflects Canon’s Kyosei philosophy of living and working together for the common good,” said Anuj Aggarwal, President and CEO of Canon Marketing Philippines. “Education has the power to transform communities, and through initiatives like this, we hope to help create better environments where students and teachers can thrive. Kyosei becomes meaningful when it is experienced through collective action and genuine care.”

Through programs like Brigada Eskwela, Canon continues to strengthen its corporate social responsibility efforts, reinforcing its commitment to building communities where learning, connection, and growth are made possible through shared effort.
