Just a year after officially entering the Philippine market, VinFast has quickly shifted from being an electric vehicle newcomer to a fast-growing brand gaining recognition among Filipino motorists. As Southeast Asia’s representative in the global EV race, VinFast is proving that the region is not just keeping up, but actively shaping the future of mobility.
As the company enters 2026, VinFast does so with renewed confidence and clear priorities: a wider range of electric vehicles, a rapidly expanding dealership network, and a stronger ecosystem that makes everyday EV ownership more practical for Filipinos. These plans were shared during VinFast’s recent Media & KOL Thanksgiving Event in Manila, where the brand reflected on its journey so far and outlined what lies ahead.
VinFast’s current lineup already spans a wide range of mobility needs, from the compact VF 3 and VF 5 to the more premium VF 6, VF 7, and VF 9. Designed to cater to different lifestyles and budgets, these models reflect the brand’s goal of making electric mobility accessible to more drivers. Looking ahead to 2026, VinFast plans to introduce electric scooters and an electric multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) in the Philippines—two highly in-demand segments that align with urban commuting needs and the realities of growing Filipino families.
The Road Ahead, Shared With Partners
VinFast gathered members of the media, key opinion leaders, and industry partners for its Thanksgiving celebration themed “The Road We Share,” an evening dedicated to recognizing the role of collaboration in the brand’s growth in the Philippines.
Held at Palacio de Memoria in Taguig, the event featured cultural performances, collaborative art installations, and open conversations around VinFast’s expanding product lineup, dealership network, and charging infrastructure. The evening highlighted the shared progress between Vietnam and the Philippines, reinforcing VinFast’s commitment to growing alongside the local market.
“We are entering 2026 with strong momentum, built on the trust and support we have earned in the Philippines over the past two years,” said Toti Zara, CEO of VinFast Southeast Asia. “This year is about accelerating, expanding access, strengthening our ecosystem, and making electric mobility a source of confidence and pride for Filipino drivers.”
Making Everyday EV Ownership More Practical
In response to increasing demand for space, comfort, and versatility, VinFast is placing a stronger focus on its larger electric SUVs in 2026. The VF 6, VF 7, and VF 9 are expected to become key growth drivers, offering family-friendly designs suited for both daily city drives and longer road trips.
Beyond vehicles, VinFast continues to strengthen its support network nationwide. The brand currently operates 30 dealerships and 34 service workshops across the Philippines, with plans to expand further this year especially in major cities and high-growth regions—to ensure easier access to sales and aftersales services.
Charging infrastructure remains a crucial part of the brand’s strategy. Through V-GREEN, VinFast is steadily rolling out charging stations across key urban areas and major transport routes, with further expansion planned in 2026 to support both electric cars and two-wheelers. This growing network aims to reduce range anxiety and give Filipino drivers greater confidence in making the switch to electric.
With a broader lineup, bigger electric SUVs, more dealerships, and an expanding charging backbone, VinFast is positioning itself as a fast-scaling EV brand—one that offers Filipinos a more complete, convenient, and future-ready way to move.
