Thousands joined the Xiaomi Pop Run 2025 at Filinvest City, Alabang, celebrating fitness, community, and the official launch of the Xiaomi Smart Band 10 with 150+ sports modes and long battery life.
The spirit of fitness and innovation came alive at the Xiaomi Pop Run 2025 as 3,500 runners and fitness enthusiasts gathered in Alabang on August 30. Organized by Xiaomi, a global leader in smart technology, the event combined running, community celebration, and the much-awaited launch of the Xiaomi Smart Band 10.
The annual Xiaomi Pop Run has become one of the most anticipated lifestyle and fitness events in the Philippines, bringing together seasoned marathoners, casual runners, and health-conscious individuals. This year, participants tested their stamina across three race categories: 5KM, 10KM, and a challenging 21KM half marathon. Each registered runner received a complete race kit with a bib, event shirt, and pace band, and everyone went home with a medal, finisher’s bag, and e-certificate. To make the race even more rewarding, the top performers in each category were awarded exciting Xiaomi products.
In the 21KM category, Ritchie Estampador dominated the men’s division with an impressive finish time of 1:15:36, while Maricar R. Camacho led the women’s division at 1:35:55. For the 10KM run, James Darrel Orduña claimed first place among men at 0:33:32, while Glorien Merisco topped the women’s division at 0:49:01. In the 5KM race, Edzel Baritua secured the men’s championship at 0:16:54, and Lorely Magalona won the women’s division with a finish time of 0:22:09. Each podium finisher proudly took home medals along with Xiaomi devices as special prizes.

But beyond competition, the Xiaomi Pop Run 2025 served as the grand stage for the debut of the Xiaomi Smart Band 10. This latest addition to Xiaomi’s lineup of wearables is designed to seamlessly blend fitness, health tracking, and personal style. The Smart Band 10 features over 150 sports modes, swim-proof durability, sleep and heart rate monitoring, and an impressive battery life of up to 21 days. Its sleek ultra-thin bezels and customizable straps allow users to match their look whether they are working out or on the go.

Participants had the chance to experience the Smart Band 10 firsthand at the Xiaomi Expo Booth, which offered live demos, fitness tests, exclusive bundles, and special on-site promotions. Photowalls set up around the venue added to the lively atmosphere, giving runners the perfect backdrop to capture their milestones and share the energy of the event.

“The Xiaomi Pop Run is more than just a race; it’s a celebration of living healthy and staying active,” said Tomi Adrias, Head of Marketing for Xiaomi Philippines. “Through events like this and products such as the Xiaomi Smart Band 10, we want to empower people to ‘Fit in style’ and embrace fitness as part of their everyday lifestyle.”

Since its local introduction in 2018, the Xiaomi Pop Run has been adapted from the Xiaomi Orange Run in China, quickly growing into one of the most loved offline events for Xiaomi fans in the Philippines. With its combination of community, technology, and fitness, the 2025 edition further showcased Xiaomi’s commitment to promoting wellness and innovation.

The Xiaomi Pop Run 2025 was made possible with the support of event partners, including Home Credit, Google Gemini, Red Bull, Viu, Globe, Maris Pure, ION+, and Filinvest, along with sponsors Fitbar, Somerset, Salonpas, and Anytime Fitness.
