The JOOPITER sacai x SEVENTEEN auction closed with a white glove sale, featuring one-of-a-kind LABUBU collectibles and exclusive items, all in support of UNESCO.
The world of designer collectibles and K-pop collided in a major way during JOOPITER’s recent sacai x SEVENTEEN auction, and it was nothing short of a record-breaking success. All items were sold in what’s known as a “white glove sale,” signaling massive interest and high demand for the exclusive items on offer.

At the center of the auction were 14 one-of-a-kind LABUBU plush toys, originally from POP MART x How2work’s Green Edition and part of Kasing Lung’s beloved The Monsters series. These weren’t your average collectibles, they were transformed into fashion-forward pieces, each dressed in specially designed outfits by sacai. Thirteen of them wore tan onesies accented with custom gold and silver neck accessories, each symbolizing a member of the global K-pop group SEVENTEEN. The fourteenth LABUBU stood out with a secret colorway, inspired by one of Pharrell Williams’ favorite sacai looks.
The total hammer price for all LABUBU figures hit an impressive $337,500 USD, with the highest-selling plush going for $31,250 — setting a new world record for a LABUBU toy sold at auction. This shows just how passionate fans and collectors are when it comes to exclusive collaborations that blend fashion, pop culture, and art.
Beyond the toys, the auction also featured other rare items tied to SEVENTEEN and sacai, including a limited-edition J-17-S T-shirt signed by the group and a custom leather sacai jacket worn in their “Bad Influence” music video. These items brought even more star power and authenticity to the lineup.
What makes this auction even more meaningful is its cause. All proceeds will be donated to UNESCO, with SEVENTEEN supporting the initiative as UNESCO Goodwill Ambassadors for Youth and Pharrell Williams contributing as UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador for Arts Education and Entrepreneurship. This collaboration not only showcased creative design and K-pop influence but also reflected a shared commitment to global education and youth empowerment.
