TOYCON PH, the Philippines' biggest and most anticipated pop culture convention, returns with a bang this June 13–15, 2025, at the SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia Complex in Pasay City. Now celebrating its 22nd year, the event continues to raise the bar in collaboration with MINDstyle’s POP LIFE Global Festival. With the theme of “Celebration,” TOYCON 2025 promises an unforgettable experience for fans of toys, collectibles, cosplay, TCG, gaming, music, anime, and pop culture.

ToyCon 2024

This year marks a massive expansion of the TOYCON community as the event welcomes enthusiasts from trading card games (TCG), cosplay, and competitive battle gaming. The dealer floor is the largest it has ever been, showcasing over 400 exhibitors and vendors offering everything from rare collectibles to new releases across major toy and hobby brands. Attendees will get a first look at the Philippine launch of innovative collectibles from MINDstyle’s Collectormates and ThrillJoy, alongside exciting product debuts by Infinite Brands including Minix, CaDa, and Rastar. Renowned global brands such as LEGO, Bandai, Banpresto, Tamashii Nations, Bandai Namco, and Legendary Beast Studios are also making a grand return.

TOYCON is well known for its exclusive, limited-edition collectibles, and 2025 will not disappoint. Exclusive reveals this year include Quiccs collectibles, thrilling new items from ThrillJoy and Collectormates, and a VOLTES V Event Exclusive that fans will not want to miss. Sports fans will also rejoice as the NBA joins TOYCON for the first time, bringing official apparel and merchandise to the sports collector market.

The TOYCONCert also makes a powerful comeback, featuring live performances by international and local musical artists. This year’s performers include Starmarie, Miura Ayme with Miko, Pastel Mix, Dela, Saya, Wanmini, Ziga, Shane Shen, Beverly, and more, offering entertainment across a wide variety of musical styles and fan favorites.

Competitions are at the heart of TOYCON, and 2025 will see the return of signature contests, including the high-profile CosKon cosplay competition and the debut of the International Art Toy Design Competition. The winning design will be produced by MINDstyle as a premium collectible—a dream opportunity for aspiring toy designers.

TokuSpirits returns with a dynamic guest lineup from the tokusatsu universe. Fans can meet Ryota Ozawa (Gokai Red) and Yui Koike (Gokai Pink) from Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger, as well as legendary Japanese seiyuus including Miyuki Ueda (Voltes V, Daimos), Rica Matsumoto (Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Hunter x Hunter), and the newly announced Yuriko Yamaguchi, known for voicing Nico Robin (One Piece), Ritsuko Akagi (Evangelion), and Nurse Joy (Pokémon).

In an exciting first, TOYCON 2025 will also host the complete Tagalog voice actor cast of the Straw Hat Pirates from One Piece for a special reunion meet and greet. Voice talents like Candice Arellano, Vincent Gutierrez, Ray Miranda, Je Utanes, Nica Rojo, Maynard Llames, and Anthony Steven San Juan will be present, offering an exclusive panel session where fans can dive into the world of local voice acting.

TOYCON continues its strong support of cosplay culture with a dedicated cosplay area and an impressive lineup of local and international cosplayers. Attendees can look forward to meeting celebrities such as Een, Liabear, Kitz Cua, Pompomny, Tiny Asa (Vietnam), Chanel Yui (Singapore), and Eri and Riela (Indonesia), all while exploring the immersive cosplay zones designed to celebrate fan creativity and craftsmanship.

The Artist Alley will showcase more than 100 creative exhibitors, ranging from toy designers to independent artists and small press creators. Attendees can meet and support the talents behind the art that fuels the local pop culture movement.

TOYCON’s classic contests make their highly anticipated return, including the Action Figure Customization Contest, Custom Mecha Figure Design, Doll Dress-Up Challenge, Art Toy Design Contest, TOY CLICK Toy Photography Contest, and COSCLICK Cosplay Photography Contest. These competitions celebrate creativity, craftsmanship, and the ever-evolving toy and cosplay cultures.

Trading card game fans will be thrilled with the launch of TCG Alley, a dedicated space featuring more than 60 TCG vendors. Whether you're looking to buy, sell, or trade, this new addition brings a haven for card enthusiasts. TOYCON has also teamed up with Mana Underground to present high-stakes tournaments and hobby events where players can compete for prizes and prestige.

One of the most anticipated announcements is the 2025 Pinoy Pop Culture Icon Award, an honor bestowed upon individuals or groups who have significantly influenced Filipino pop culture. Past awardees include icons like Mars Ravelo, Alodia Gosiengfiao, Michael V., and Big Boy Cheng. This year’s recipient will be revealed at the event.

Gaming nostalgia is alive and well at TOYCON 2025 with a retro gaming zone powered by Republic of Gamers. Fans can play in team tournaments featuring beloved classics like StarCraft, Counter-Strike 1.3, and DoTA 1, with each day of the event spotlighting a different legendary game.
