The JBL Flip 7 has officially launched in the Philippines for PHP 7,999. Discover what’s new with its IP68 rating, 14-hour battery life, Bluetooth 5.4, and powerful sound system.
JBL has officially launched the Flip 7 wireless speaker in the Philippines, and it’s arriving just in time for the summer adventures and the rainy days ahead. This latest model brings upgraded features while keeping the same reliable design that fans of the Flip series have come to love. Priced at PHP 7,999, the JBL Flip 7 offers a great mix of durability, portability, and sound performance.
Originally released globally in March 2025, the Flip 7 is now available in JBL stores and authorized retailers across the country. It comes in a variety of color options, including Black, Blue, Red, Black Orange, Purple, Pink, Squad, and Sand, giving users more ways to match the speaker with their personal style.
The speaker’s build is solid and ready for outdoor use. It’s rated IP68 for water and dust resistance, meaning it can be submerged in up to 1.5 meters of water for 30 minutes and still keep going. JBL has also designed it to survive accidental drops of up to one meter, which is a plus for those who plan to bring it on hikes, trips to the beach, or anywhere rough and rugged. The Flip 7 weighs 826 grams and measures 6.9 x 18.3 x 7.1 cm, making it compact enough to carry around but big enough to pack a punch.
A smart feature of the Flip 7 is its interchangeable carrying slot. Whether you prefer a finger loop or a carabiner, you can switch between the two depending on how you want to bring it with you.
When it comes to audio, JBL didn’t hold back. The Flip 7 features a 25W woofer and a 10W tweeter, combining for a total output of 35W. This setup delivers clear mids and highs with solid bass, covering a frequency range of 60Hz to 20kHz. Music lovers will appreciate how it holds up across different genres and settings.
The speaker runs on a 4,800mAh battery, giving you up to 14 hours of playtime on a single charge. If you want to extend that even more, JBL’s Playtime Boost feature can push the battery life to up to 16 hours, which is great for long days out.
Wireless connectivity is handled by Bluetooth 5.4, offering a stable and efficient connection. The Flip 7 also supports the AAC codec, providing better sound quality for Apple users and others who prefer higher audio performance. For those who want to go wired, a USB-C connection is available and even unlocks lossless audio for higher quality playback.
Another key upgrade is the support for Auracast, replacing the older PartyBoost feature. Auracast lets users easily link multiple JBL speakers that support the feature, making it ideal for group listening or bigger events. The speaker also works with the JBL Portable app, letting users control settings, updates, and features right from their phones.
With its rugged design, better sound quality, and smarter connectivity options, the JBL Flip 7 is a well-rounded speaker that fits into any lifestyle, whether you’re at home, on a weekend getaway, or just relaxing outdoors.
The JBL Flip 7 is now available in the Philippines for PHP 7,999 at JBL stores and authorized distributors nationwide.
