A new urban lifestyle experience in the heart of the city has brought in all the excitement as the Citadines Roces Quezon City opened its doors last January 19, 2024.
Everywhere I look, I can already feel the modern urban vibe. The lounge area was spacious, and comforting to the eyes because of its clean and modern look. Every element will make you feel at home plus everyone is really welcoming. Citadines indeed understands today's urban explorers by offering a seamless blend of comfort, convenience, and style.
What really amazes me is the small details that they put in the decor and display of the hotel. It gives a homey look and feel to whoever visits the hotel. What caught my eye is the Apo Wang-Od-inspired backdrop at the reception area of the lobby, I like that Citadine adapts the culture and Filipino craftsmanship in today's modernization.
It is very nice and refreshing to see this kind of place in Quezon City where it usually gets busy. This is an ideal place for everyone who wants to escape and find tranquility in the business of the city.

Before the opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony, pass-around food and coffee were served. Citadine is known for its coffee and I am surprised by how good their coffee taste. We are also greeted by a live painting activity which adds value to this memorable event.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony was led by Ascott's Country Manager, Philip Barnes, Citadines Roces QC Assistant Residence Manager, Thea Peregrino, General Manager of JG Jinmen Leisures Corporation, David Ng Lim, Matriarch of the Lim Family, Mrs. Ng Gyok Oh Lim, Head of Local Economic Investment and Promotions Office, Jay Gatmaitan and Regional Director Department of Tourism - NCR, Sharlene Batin. Their presence highlighted this new phase for Citadines and packed the celebratory night with optimism and delight.
Upon entering the lobby, you get to see the hotel pool with an overlooking view of the City. You can enjoy your coffee and chit-chat with your friends by enjoying the scenery and the relaxing ambiance of the place. Apart from this, Citadine also has a fitness center, laundrette services, and lounge which gives additional comfort and convenience to guests.

This newly opened Ascott property features 185 well-appointed apartments with six main room categories: Studio Deluxe, Studio Executive, One Bedroom Deluxe, One Bedroom Executive, One Bedroom Premier, Two-Bedroom Premier, and Three Bedroom Premier. All rooms are well-thought-of and designed to bring solace and a homey feel but still aesthetically pleasing. From the placement of fixtures to the small elements, you can already see that guests' comfort is Citadines' top priority.
In case you crave some good food and cocktails, Alejo Restaurant got you covered with its delectable dishes that set the stage for a culinary journey you wouldn’t want to miss. Try out the Soft Shell Crab Okoy, a standout on the menu, which calls for a crunch bite into its crispy and succulent soft shell crab fritters, perfectly paired with the piquant notes of pinakurat vinegar and the refreshing zest of Calamansi vinaigrette side salad. Chow down on the Duck Leg Adobar which features the tender Duck leg confit bathed in oozing adobar sauce.
Everything sounds so good and exciting, right? Overall, I had a really good time experiencing Citandine's hospitality and I am looking forward to visiting again with my family and friends.
