Huawei MatePad Pro 11 inch In Depth Review & Pre-order Details

0
Today, we are going a bit more in-depth on our review of the New Tablet PC, the Huawei MatePad Pro 11 Inch. If you were able to watch my initial unboxing & first impressions, you might have an idea already about its features. If you haven’t, make sure you watch it first…. I’ll wait. 😊

Okay so. Huawei MatePad Pro 11 inch. Is it a tablet? Is it a PC?! Well, let’s talk about it.
Quickly on the design. man! Look at that. Ang ganda lang! It has that frosted back design. Huawei has been known to produce quality products and if you have their first MatePad Pro tablet, you can compare it and see that this is an improved version. They call this version/color the Golden Black.

11 inch Display
Look at that. The screen display features Huawei’s highest screen-to-body ratio at 92%. Nipis on the sides. And this size is perfect for those movies and series! If you’re wondering bakit ang ganda is because this 11-inch screen display is an OLED display. This is the only OLED display in its price category. Sabi nga nila, or sabi ko nga. Once you go OLED, you’ll never go back. Solid talaga this!

2560 x 1600 high resolution, high density, high contrast ratio and outperforms many professional monitors in color accuracy and that is why this is also great for creatives because of The Real Color FullView Display. Oh and this one also has a 120Hz refresh rate. (Nice!)

To add lang, the Huawei MatePad Pro 11 inch has the TUV Rheinland Full Care Display 3.0 Certification. This is the most comprehensive certification standard for smart devices. This means that this device has high standards on color accuracy, gamma, and flicker, ambient light contrast,

Full Care Display 3.0 is TÃœV Rheinland's most comprehensive certification standard for mobile smart devices. Compared with the 2.0 standard, the 3.0 standard enhances pixel density, color accuracy, gamma, and flicker, to ensure that the evaluation of these indicators more closely tracks the visual attributes of the human eye. In addition, environment adaptive display technology and ambient light contrast have been added, placing a higher standard on device visual performance across different lighting environments. This product is not a medical device, and should not be used for treatment purposes.

Huawei Sound
Of course, you cant enjoy those streaming apps without a good sound. Huawei brands it Huawei Sound. Compared to the first tablet, they had Harman Kardon sound on the first Huawei MatePad Pro. I was able to compare both on similar videos on full blast. and I think that the first MatePad pro has a punchier base but the second one has deeper and better acoustics and more surround sound experience. And mas malakas. Kind of like a cinema surround experience that is more immersive. The Huawei MatePad Pro has six custom speakers that are fine-tuned to extract the needed details of the sound.

So you will notice, in music, you can hear every instrument. On Movies, they have enhanced environmental sound effects and you can hear the dialogues of the actors and in gaming, you get realistic sound effects.

Big Battery and Fast Charging. What more can I say?
This tablet has 8300mAh that can power the tablet up to 11.5 hours of 1080p HD video playback and 8.5 hours of browsing on the web. If you’re afraid to run out of juice, don’t worry because this one supports the 66W supercharge. The Huawei MatePad pro can reach 55% charge in 30 minutes and will be fully charged in 66 minutes. Not that is fast! Super convenient and you get to work on the go!

Accessories
Xempre the Huawei MatePad Pro 11 inch comes with accessories similar to the first one. Iba na ang keyboard. This is the Detachable Magnetic Keyboard. Now from the first one, nag anito. It is now more versatile in form factor. So you can work wherever you are. This one can adapt to any situation you may have. They have three split form types.

· Laptop Form – Just like a traditional laptop, this is great for document typing or creating spreadsheets.
· Split FormYou separate the keyboard from the stand and the tablet. What’s cool is they are still connected via Bluetooth. This way you can put the tablet anywhere or put it on a stand and you can type by placing the keyboard on your table, lap, or anywhere you like.

 · Studio Form This one is for the creatives. Best to use the Huawei M-Pencil for this. The studio form is great if you are designing or creating a new model.

The M-Pencil has coated with silicone polymer resin for a nice grip. Now, here I don’t know which one holds more grip. The first one or the 2nd one. They seem to hold up the same. The initial impression is parang mas grippy is the first one. The white polymer resin though looks really nice and clean. But! Prone to some hit marks, and specks of dirt or smudges. But I do like the tip because it’s transparent.

Huawei said The 2nd one has around 30% improvement when you do your strokes. And they have worked on the touch signals from the tip of the stylus for a more precise drawing and writing experience. If you apply pressure you can also see that the strokes get thicker. Mas sensitive na siya now so that’s great news for creatives.

So can you use the first Gen Pen on the new matepad tablet? Yes! And vice versa.
I did try both a couple of times, and parang wala ako masyado nakitang difference. Parang both of them performs the same. I think may update sa mismong software. But it is more responsive and more precise.

Now we talked all about the features, but we are still missing some more specs
What is the processor? This model is the GOT AL09, and this one runs the Qualcomm Snapdradon 888 Mobile Platform. GPU is the Adreso 660 with the operating system of HarmonyOS 3.

HarmonyOS 3 connects your devices and coordinates your tasks. This gives you a more immersive world tailored to your needs. Seamless interactions on widgets and between devices.

Here you can also easily project your tablet to a laptop screen or monitor in HD. You will also notice that you can stylize your home screen. Explore the different widgets, adjust it and stack them.

The Huwei Super Device is also something that is great for Huawei users. Here you can use the MatePad Pro to act as a hub for the SuperDevice. Easily connect and share information across your Huawei devices. Transfer that picture from your phone to your MatePad and then to your MateBook. Seamless transfers of files and other documents. Connect your mobile phone, PC, monitor, headset, speaker, watch to the table for device interconnection and collaboration with just one drag.

Camera
The Huawei MatePro 11-inch has a 13MP rear camera at f/1.8 aperture + 8MP wide-angle at F/2.2 and also an LED flash. The front Camera is a 16MP at F/2,2 fixed focal. Perfect for online meetings and calls.

Huawei also is proud of its hidden floating antenna design. Where the Huawei MatePad pro uses hybrid dual-mode antenna signal enhancement technology along with the AI-powered Low Profile Patch Antenna to distribute up to four WiFI antennas to ensure that this is always a strong signal reaching the tablet. This ensures that the tablet will provide the best network signals even in the most complex environments.

Final Thoughts.
This new Huawei MatePad Pro 11-inch takes Productivity and creativity to the next level. I really like a lot of features of this new tablet from Huawei. Being a user and coming from its predecessor, the new one adds class, flexibility, and a whole lot more to the bag.

What I like this time is the Detachable Magnetic keyboard. I think this will do wonders for my productivity. I can easily adjust how the tablet is tilted with its stand. I noticed also that facial recognition is a whole lot faster. The interface is very intuitive and easy to use. Typing on the keyboard is also another one that I enjoy doing. It’s familiar and had nice key spacing and layout.
Improved connectivity via the Huawei Super Device is something that Huawei fans should also take a look at. Multi-screen collaboration and wireless projections let you enjoy work and play.

Of course, I have to mention the OLED. Man, that OLED screen is just amazing, and pairing it with the Huawei Sounds gives that really nice immersive experience.
