New Age of Digital Mall Experience - Go Shopping Philippines

0
There's a new shopping site on the rise that promises a new level of delight in shopping. Digital malling to a higher level of quality and lifestyle, that's what Go Shopping Philippines (GSP) aim to achieve.

A shopping site by Filipinos, for Filipinos and to the world (soon) is what Neil G. La-as dreamt of the GSP Mall. His dream is of an online malling venue that is not only nearly complete in supplying what one needs. It is one that gives ultimate safety and protection for his money.
“The competition excites me personally because despite all the odds, despite all the existing players in the e-commerce industry, I still see the need for a much bigger platform that is responsive to the interest of the market for a more sophisticated digital lifestyle,” said La-as. “Existing online shops lack the understanding of the very essence of why people go for online shopping, and that is convenience and protection. We do not have the true ease of use and trust for online shops in the market yet... With Go Shopping Philippines, that is the heart of why we exist. We will make it easy for you and we will protect you.”
He himself went through frustration from his own online shopping experience. Then, La-as, a streetsmart, self-initiated businessman from humble beginnings, promised himself this is what he will address once his own GSP Mall starts rolling.

It was clear that the utmost concern of GSP is fighting against the ”fakes”. Many merchants are still undergoing screenings that are the reason why many brands haven't been on board yet. The ultimate goal of the GSP is that it will become the virtual mall that it is meant to be.

La-as shared that never again should an online buyer order for something he hasn’t seen exactly and wait in high expectation only to be frustrated. Never again should hard-working online customers spend their money on a fake, low-quality product. He also assures that shoppers will never have to pay the exorbitant cost for food or basic commodities only because we have a pandemic.
Very soon, the GSP will have more shops and products of good quality - from consumer goods, food and beverage, fresh produce, apparels, fashion accessories, jewelry, and supermarket goods, department store items-- furniture, appliances, and home furnishings, to essential services such as medical, dental, and veterinary services, architectural and interior design, carpentry, and upholstery services, sewing and embroidery, travel booking facility, and many more, GSP will have them all in the “Mall”.

I am personally excited and hopeful to see this come into a full-blown app/digital mall because not only does it has all of the shops I mentioned but the system will also include GFlix, Go Live, Go Cineplex, and Go TV within the app! GFlix offers on-demand movies -- both local and international films. Go Live is a live-streaming platform designed for conferences, trade exhibitions, and events.
GO Cineplex is a 3D virtual cinema that has multiple halls, a secured online ticketing system, and high-quality audio and video setup. Theater shows and presentations, to fashion shows and sports activities, can now be viewed on your own personal mall, your smartphone. GoTV will air select TV programs which can be accessed anywhere and anytime.

GSP has partnered with companies like GCash and PayMaya, banks, and other online payment systems to give its users the convenience and safety of payments wherever they are.
The Philippines’ first mega digital mall will have its own trade hall for micro small medium enterprises (MSME). That not only gives small merchants the chance to step up to the global supply chain, but it will give chance for every GSP Mall user to access goods from small producers from all over the Philippines. That must be anyone’s dream realized, having at one’s fingertips the products he used to only enjoy when out-of-town. It may be durian candy from Davao, mango-tamarind of Cebu, pili tart from Bicol, or Arabica coffee from Bukidnon.

Indeed we are approaching the peak of the digital age and there's no stopping the growth of e-commerce. The differentiator now is how can it make the whole experience not just fast & convenient, but also safe, exciting, and endearing. I wish the best for Go Shopping Philippines. Excited to see the amazing content and more partners lined up inside the Philippines' first mega digital mall.
