Face-Off 2015: A Cut Above the Rest

The 2015 Fashion Face-Off showcased the designs of students of the country's top fashion schools last November 23 at SM Megamall's Mega Fashion Hall. I think this is the first time that top fashion design schools went head to head to showcase their designs.

The four schools were Slim’s Fashion and Arts School, SoFA Design Institute, De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde, and Fashion Institute of the Philippines. It was interesting to see the talents and designs put into an actual fashion piece.

There was no theme, but the emphasis was on the cut and construction of the pieces. Supported by Converse, the brand had an area there where students and aspiring designers can customize and design their on Converse shoes. #MadeForYou

Check out some of the designs.

The event ended with all of the designs being shown again for the last time. It was truly and interesting line up as you you'd be amaze how these students can come up with their own concepts and designs for their pieces. Kids and designers today sure has a bright future ahead of them. Now to start you off, you can start with your beaten up Converse shoes and just let your ideas run free! :)
