This February, love takes another classic twist in “Only You: An Evening of Romantic Hits” , a Valentine concert featuring Matt Monro, Jr. and The Fabulous Sounds of ... The Platters with renowned Filipino balladeer and Asian singing sensation Christian Bautista.
Listen to them take on a mix of time-honored romantic classics and contemporary love songs in the show, which will kick off at the PICC Plenary Hall on February 14, 2015 at 8PM and Newport Performing Arts Theater at Resorts World Manila on February 16, 2015 at 8pm.
Get ready to be enthralled all over again by classic love songs like The Platters’ “Only You”, “Smoke Gets In Your Eyes”, “The Great Pretender”, “Harbor Lights”, “Twilight Time”, “Enchanted” and “My Prayer.” Relive the hits of Matt Monro as the junior pays tribute to the songs popularized by his dad such as “Portrait of My Love,” “Walk Away”, “Softly As I Leave You”, “Love Is A Many Splendored Thing”, “Born Free”, “If I Never Sing Another Song” and “From Russia With Love.”
Meanwhile, Christian will perform his own hit songs like “Colour Everywhere”, “Hands To Heaven”, the immensely popular song “The Way You Look at Me” that virtually launched Christian’s career in the Southeast Asian region when he started in the music biz years ago plus other hits from his award winning albums.
