As more Filipinos look for smarter, more sustainable ways to get around, electric mobility is quickly becoming part of everyday life. Recognizing this growing demand, VinFast is taking a major step forward in the Philippines.

Global electric vehicle manufacturer VinFast has signed Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with 14 leading e-scooter distributors in the Philippines, significantly expanding its retail footprint ahead of its highly anticipated local launch in June 2026.

This strategic move underscores VinFast's commitment to making green mobility more accessible to Filipinos while building a complete electric mobility ecosystem nationwide.

VinFast's newest partners include Wheeltek Motor Sales Corporation, Gentrade International Phils., Inc. (Transcycle), Superbikes Corporation, Motoxpress Sales Corporation, FMN Industrial Corp., Eduhome Enterprise, Inc., Keymotors Incorporated, Motorpro by Abenson Ventures Inc. and Aserco, Moto Atelier Inc., Ciclo Suerte, HG Motorzone, HGC Main Marketing (Motorboy), BLC Cycle Parts Supply, and Auto Ten Trade & Services Corp.

Together, these partnerships will help establish a robust showroom and service network across key locations, including Manila, Davao City, Rizal, Laguna, Cavite, Batangas, Cebu City, and Bulacan. Each showroom will be built to VinFast's global standards, ensuring a premium customer experience from purchase to after-sales support.

For Filipino commuters navigating busy city streets and rising fuel costs, VinFast's e-scooters offer an appealing alternative. The initial lineup will feature swappable-battery models such as Evo, Feliz II, and Viper, with more models tailored specifically for local road conditions and rider preferences expected to follow.

The Philippines remains one of Southeast Asia's largest motorcycle markets, making it an ideal environment for electric two-wheelers. As urban centers continue to grow and sustainability becomes increasingly important, e-scooters present a practical, cost-efficient, and eco-friendly transportation option.

VinFast is also investing heavily in the infrastructure needed to support long-term adoption. In partnership with local infrastructure providers, the company plans to deploy approximately 30,000 battery-swapping stations nationwide, creating a seamless ownership experience for riders.

"Our partnerships with 14 major dealers in the Philippines mark an important step in rapidly establishing a strong distribution and service foundation from the outset," said Vo Thi Cam Tu, Managing Director of VinFast E-Scooters Overseas Market. "We're not just introducing e-scooters, we're creating an ecosystem that makes sustainable mobility convenient, efficient, and accessible for every Filipino."

The Philippines is one of five key international markets identified in VinFast's 2026 global expansion strategy, alongside Indonesia, India, Thailand, and Malaysia. With its expanding network, innovative products, and integrated support system, VinFast is well-positioned to help drive the country's transition toward cleaner, smarter transportation.

For Filipinos seeking a practical and greener way to move, the future may soon be just one ride away.
