Got a word that Asus Philippines is launching their much awaited ZenFone Zoom at the Sinulog  Festival 2016 and we are excited! The ZenFone Zoom made news during the CES 2015 and some people got to try is after a year at the CES 2016. So excited that it has now reach the shores of the Philippines and we will have the chance to play around with it.

Just for the information, ZenFone Zoom is the world’s thinnest 3x optical-zoom smartphone with an innovative10-element HOYA lens arrangement for crisp detail — and up to 12x total magnification. If that's a mouthful, well it is and the specs are just awesome!

On paper, what they're saying is you no longer need to carry the big lumpy digital cameras now that there's the ZenFone Zoom. The camera boasts their 3x optical-zoom and rock-steady optical image stabilization (OIS). It has a dual-LED Real Tone flash for perfect lighting and the revolutionary 0.03 seconds laser auto-focus.

How do you think ZenFone Zoom was able to achieve the 3x optical-zoom? Well the innovative 10-element lens was created by HOYA, the Japanese optics experts. Together, they created an aspheric, molded-glass lens system, finished using a technique we call the “D-cut”— a world first.

The ZenFone Zoom’s 13MP PixelMaster camera is automatically enhanced by DSLR-like optical image stabilization (OIS). providing 16 times longer exposure duration to ensure the image to be stabilized, sharp and clear every time even when moving. Its OIS can capture shots equivalent to shutter speeds that is 4 stops slower than none OIS camera — delivering superb clarity, even in low light.

With that said, I just can't wait to get a hold of of the ZenFone Zoom and try out its features. For more information on the ZenFone Zoom, check out this link.

They sent over one of their new smartphone, Asus ZenFone Max. Read more about it here.
