[Tech] Oppo R7 Series Launch featuring R7 Plus and R7 Lite.

Last night, Oppo Philippines launched their newest gadget series, the R7 Plus and the R7 Lite at the Isla Grand Ballroom of EDSA Shangri-La Hotel. Oppo fans, proud users, Tech media and Lifestyle writers were at the venue to witness the unveiling of the new smartphones and its price. Their first local endorser, Sarah Geronimo was also there to grace the event and give the guests a few song numbers.


Priced at P 21,990, the Oppo R7 Plus packs a reliable 1.5GHz 64 bit Snapdragon 615 octa core processor. Full HD resolution on it 6 inch screen metal framed phablet. It has 3 GB or RAM and an internal storage of 32GB of internal storage (pretty huge) and expandable up to 128GB.

It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and 8-megapixel front camera with f/2.4 aperture. The new Flash Shot is something that the Oppo R7 highlights. Giving importance to the Ultimate Image Quality, The R7 Plus applies laser auto focus and smart anti-shake optimization for hypersensitive focusing and instantaneous image generation. Even shots taken in a heartbeat look breath-taking. It also has time lapse, super GIF, various filters and selfie fill light features. 


The Oppo R7 Plus also have enough juice ready for your smartphone demands. It has a huge 4,100 mAh battery, a flash charge feature and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop.

The Oppo R7 Lite is prices at P 13,990 and has the same body material like the R7 Plus, Aircraft-grade magnesium aluminium alloy. Also has an Arc Edge Screen and having the exceptional premium fee. The front of the R7 Lite is installed with a jaw-dropping, AMOLED glass screen for better image quality.


The R7 Lite inherits OPPO's classic “Lineism” design philosophy, with free-flowing curves conveying elegance, tenderness, and aesthetic sleekness, whilst providing users with a sense of security and ease. 

One cool feature is the Oppo R7 Lite's universal 4G high-speed access. Also the freedom to choose either to use the phone as a dual sim or have more storage. Now that's innovative.

The phone features a 5.0 inch screen, having a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. Also on  Android 5.1 (lollipop), the storage has the conservative size of 16GB, expandable up to 128 GB and has a 2GB RAM.  13 MP for the primary camera and 8 MP for the secondary.
